Nowadays, HD Ports and remakes are a huge thing (look at the Ocarina of Time and Windwaker ports, or how SEGA has been porting alot of their old Sonic games onto Steam, or Tales of Symphonia getting ported to the PS3, or the Ducktales remake)..



Now, what are some titles you would like to see get a remake or port?


I would enjoy an HD Port of Skies of Arcadia.. its a cult favorite and is considered one of the top JRPGs (and as a result a copy in good condition requires a small fortune to purchase (go check EBay if you don't believe me), however SEGA seems to be just sitting on this Licence (other then putting in a few cameos in Valkyria Chronicles), so getting a port or remake of it is extremely unlikely unfortunately...




What games would you like to see an HD Port or Remake of?

I would like to see Sega's The Revenge of Shinobi ported to pc with today's graphics.

Alpha Centauri.

I can't think of a single game that I want to see remade, remastered, or updated.

I was playing Mega Man 2 today on my NES.... The last thing that crossed my mind was "It needs a remake."
Instead, I was thinking, "Why don't they make games like this anymore?"

EV Nova could do with another game..

Carnage Heart EXA could do with a physical release

Space Rangers could do with more money to get the english translation quicker

Strike Commander, a spinoff of Wing Commander by Origin. I still find it great fun, with a great story and great characters, but it's also an example of how graphical limitations can hurt a game. The ground lacked texture so it was difficult to tell how close you were to it even with your instruments, the aircraft's HUD didn't appear when panning, and ground targets had an abysmal draw distance.

I wouldn't mind seeing a console port of Radiant Historia, but it's not something I would be dying to play and would prefer an actual sequel.

Final Fantasy VII and Alpha Centauri.

http://www.elderscrolls.com/redguard/, the original game is such a hassle to get to run properly on a modern computer and the controls are rather clunky.

System Shock, the original is still good and nice, but an update with modern controls and stuff wouldn't hurt.

Suikoden 1-5 HD Collection would be awesome, my favorite JRPG series.

Shenmue 1&2 HD Collection would be excellent too, and if it sell well, Shenmue 3!

Yakuza 1&2 HD Collection (already available in Japan for both PS3 and Wii U but I want a western release )

Yeah, Redguard was such a cool game. It's my second favorite game from Beth after Morrowind. In fact, in Redguard one could see hints of MW already. It was in Redguard the cool raspy voice of the Dunmer made its debut, voice which unfortunately Beth completely destroyed out of existence after MW.
