I'd really like to play dawnguard but the only way i see that id be able to do it is by either waiting for it to come out in a Skyrim GOTY edition (very long wait)

or earning the MS points by gaining spam and useless craps (i dont has a credit card and wont be allowed to buy the cards for points from stores)

so is it possible ?

How old are you? Just buy it anyway. If your parents will allow you to buy the GOTY version, then what's the difference between spending you money on a points card and that? What parents don't know won't hurt them. Live a little while in captivity.

parents hold onto all of the money and im not even supposed to has my console connected to internet atm if they new i had done this id be in so much trouble XD

dont do it. the only legit way to get free ms points is xbox rewards, even though it would take forever to get enough for dawnguard. anything else that claims to give you free ms points is a scam

Seriously? you cant scraqe together 20 bucks to buy a 1200 point card? Tell your parents its for lunch or something, and then buy it. Or get yourself a part time job, then your parents cant tell you what to do with your own money that you earned.

No. Only the cheesy, fly-by-night "free to play" folks do that "fill out this survey for points!" stuff. MS and Nintendo just sell their points. (And Sony just uses real $ instead of fake points, but does sell prepaid cards so that people who don't want their credit card info online can do it).

Damn! I hope they aren't very sharp. No offence. I just mean that when they get the bill or look up how much bandwidth they have left, they can see where the extra has gone and wonder why it's more than they have used. My dad used to do that with me when we had dial up. He checked everything to make sure I wasn't going on there. Of course that was back in the day when parents could beat the living [censored] out of you for disobedience.

I suppose your best bet is for you to get a job like a paper route or something. Try painting fences and the like during the summer. Legally, your parents can't take that money away from you.

The best way to get points is to buy them. I buy the cards when I need them but I refuse to put any of my bank info on a video game system just my preference. It svcks yous parents will not let you download Dawnguard.

For Oblivion I waited for the GOTY before I got any add ons to that game.

Ask your parents for chores to do in exchange for an allowance. Mow your neighbors lawn. Eat less and pocket some lunch money each day. Collect aluminum cans and get money at recycling center. Collect scrap metal (copper in particular) and sell at a metal scrap yard. Have a yard sale or sell something on ebay.

Just know you are going to have to download Dawnguard. I don't know how your folks are going to overlook the bandwidth that you're going to need,
