ive researched a little bit about this but didnt find any thing about the story but ive seen doom4 cover art somewhere. and ive seen something on doom4 on bethesdasoftworks.com but now they switched it to doom3 BFG. soooooo any one want doom4 to come out and if you know more on doom4 please post something.

Little to nothing is known on Doom4 other than it is indeed coming, it will use the same engine as RAGE, and it is going to be more like the original doom games, swarms of demons, and it will take place on Earth. We all should see something on it at this years Quakecon in August, although nothing has been announced. I believe it will be released around Summer of next year. That's just a guess though.

That's what QuakeCon is for. Unfortunately, that's their only big day.

I kinda like that, though, because I want to be surprised when I play. For example, I feel they showed way too much of Rage in the media events, by the time I played it I already knew just about everything on the game. I don't want that to happen again, I hope to see a teaser trailer and some concepts at QuakeCon, but not much more, I don't want to play the game already knowing what all the demons will look like, nor what all the levels will look like, maybe not even what all the weapons look like, I wonna be surprised.
