100% Agree.
But an Editor would be really nice. :)

I preordered Crysis 2 but then I cancelled it.

After playing the demo I was extremely dissapointed. I played Crysis and Crysis Wars extensively for 2 years.
I also did a lot of modding for the crymod community.

But for Crysis 2 I don`t even plan to buy it.
Cryteks work does not comply with what they said.

Crytek said that "Crysis 2 will have the best graphic ever seen on PC"

For me it doesn`t look any better than the 4 year old Crysis 1.
(judging from a lot of HD videos and the MP PC Demo)

My oppinions judged by the MP PC Demo:
(and the reasons why I didn`t buy the game)

The gameplay is horrible, the Nanosuit is very limited.
- No DX11 yet
- Disappointing Graphics
- Horrible gameplay (weapon spread while shooting from hips is extremely ridiculous)
- Encrypted files
- No advanced graphic settings
- Hardly a difference between the 3 graphic settings (judging from the MP demo)
- Bad textures
- The sound is really dull (5.1 surround system from Logitech)
- No Game Editor/Sandbox
- No r_screenshot cvar
- Horrible bloom effect
- Mode "run" is too slow
- You almost only hit the enemy if you use the ironsight (even at 1 or 2 meters distance)
- Complete lack of modability

If they released the Cryengine 3 Sandbox editor and improved the graphics a lot (maybe dx11 could do) maybe I will buy the game.
But probably I won`t

if people want the demo really bad, download the leaked beta seeing as it has the beta included in it. but if you do not own crysis 2 i do not supprt download the leaked beta seeing as it would be unfair to the people that supported the game and bought it, with teh most respect i can say that a respect every game company out there for trying to make a great gaming experience for us all, but guys if you knwo a game is not complete, please do not release it, i meen people may spam u guys with OMG ANOTHER DELAY, but you think about it if in the end you have a flawless game, all your gunna get is, im glad i waited for this game.

Yes we need an editor. Crytek didnt you say you value your modding community? So is this how you return the favor? By not giving your precious modding community an editor? A lil over a year ago you showed off the improved sandbox 3 editor in a tech demo, so where is it?

Yeah definently, but for consoles too,if Far Cry 2 can have a editor for x360 and ps3 and Halo forge option also has it I see no complications on why consoles cant have an editor, the only thing they would have to really do is simplify everything and BOOM people will be making their own awesome fights and maps and ai battles and movies.

I'm sorry, but I can't imagine the Sandbox 3 running on consoles. Forge and the Far Cry 2 editor are not full-scale editors but way too simplified.

Back to the point, yes, the Sandbox 3 would be awesome to have.

As many have seen on this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OHGjSm_RMo&feature=related, u can use the editor on the pc and crossrun it with the xbox/playstation

OT: the editor is very important for many crysis-players, so to not include it in crysis2 is very disappointing of crytek.
