well i was at the throat of the world fighting you know who whent to shout not realizing whirl sprint was active and well it did'nt end well

I tried to lure a draugr into one of those spring-loaded swinging door traps....he missed the pressure plate and started to own me...so I ran...right over the pressure plate...game restarted where I entered the dungeon...

I have a problem with not wantiing to find paths,.. I just keep jumping and pushing "up" until I climb a mountain lol.

soo... on that note......

Got on the very top of a mountain, only to realize tha i was supposed to be on the other side. There is a gap on the side that i can get to and then just walk around on the other side.,....insert whirlwind here..and... completely over shot it and feel to my doom.

Also... between me and 3 friends...:
Realized after about 100 hours that you can take the darn horse and buggy to the main towns and not have to run..
Collected about 10 dragon souls and wondered why the shouts never unlocked (he thought he had to continue further in the main story.
and many, many, accidental killings of companions (My brother gets a little excited in battle mode and just hacks until he sees nothing)

Running too far ahead of my "escort" in the tunnels under Helgen and getting mauled by a bear.

Lydia and I took on a couple vampires. One by one, they fell, until it was just Lydia and the vampire lord, toe to toe, matching each other blow for blow. I couldn't get a clear shot for a flame bolt, so I ran up the ramp behind them. But too late... Lydia fell to one knee before him. My heart was pounding, I hadn't lost a companion yet! Suddenly, I had an idea! I'd try out my brand new Restoration spell... I loaded up a double handed fireball, took aim at Lydia, and blew the [censored] out of both her and the lord vampire. Their corpses rebounded off the wall and came to rest in a tangled pile at my feet.

I just started at the screen for a good minute. That hadn't gone quite the way I planned. At that moment, I remembered I had remapped my keys, putting fireball in place of Heal Other. I had a quick save, so it wasn't that bad a loss. But in hindsight, it was pretty funny.

I lol'd and have the perfect cliff to go do this on so afk

Hitting the Shout key by mistake in front of someone, having the Unrelenting Force active... really disturbing if it happens without having saved for a while, right after a careful and slow playing, and / or after completing a long dialog with someone. This happened several times, but one I remember was after talking to the leader of the Companions.

I got really scared by the shout as it caught me by surprise specially after all that silence and calm, and of course it was followed by a bunch of angry people speaking at same time: "Let's put an end to this!", "What's that!", "Someone do something!"... The funny think is, once I died, they started with things like: "How can I assist?", "Need something?", "Speak, elf".

It's the good thing about Bethesda's games. These "glitches" are really funny.

Oh i had that as i came out of the cave from Helgen for the first time i played the game. I tough it is a Bandit and then i killed a Hunter...his Dog sat next to him and i was like So i reloaded the game and didn't killed him the next time.
Well Fails...i had almost every kind of.

The Classic = Fall off a mountain or Waterfall
The Follower Mistake = Don't give them Staffs of Fireballs or Chain Lightning.
The "I kill you ALL!!!" Fail = Don't run into a Group of Bandits if a Chief is next to them and your Follower makes holiday on the entrance.

Wandering and running into a frost dragon, 3 spriggans, 8 bandits, a sabre cat, a giant and 2 mammoths all at once. An epic battle ensued, using my animal allegiance on the animals, leading the spriggans to the bandits and getting the dragon to attack the giant. Awesome! It was down to just me and the dragon at the end and I died. I had forgotten to save so I couldn't recreate the circumstances. (

Fighting a dragon on the edge of a cliff...I was doing just fine and then stepped off the side of the mountain and fell to my death.

When playing as my mage who had a bounty in Riften (don't remember for what), I decided to have some fun in the orphanage with the fury spell. After a little bit of fun a guard burst though the door and tries to arrest me, a master of illusion. I resist arrest thinking I could cast fear on him before he gets his hammer out, he turns out to be a bit faster the I expected and charges straight into me killing me instantly, he then looks down on my corpse and says, "Hey, I know you!".

Today, I crossed the river thinking there was no way across. As soon as I get in the water i see a bridge right next to me...

My thief running through a dungeon spots a pressure plate, "I will just walk around that, no problem". I proceed forward and a Drauger deathlord opens a door infront of me and Fus do rah's me back the way I came and right on to the pressure plate activating a swinging spike trap that kills me outright.

Yeah... Whirlwind sprint's a killer - Especially when you think you have "Become Ethereal" active.

My epic failure? Riding a cabbage-cart down a mountain It was fun, until I crashed into a pile of stuff at the bottom and killed by flying objects

Well my keyboard is old with an F lock key... that turns off every time my computer sleeps or restarts...

F5 is normally quick save but with F lock off, its Autorun...

So, Imagine the endless times I think " better quicksave before I do something stupid", then autorun into a mob of enemies and die without having saved... or auto run off a cliff...
Being on the throat of the world trying to quick save is a scary thing lol
