List some of the great memories you experienced in other MMOs that you would love to see/experience in ESO. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
- WoW: Epic Quest: Lady Onyxia attunement. As horde I had to do an attunment quest that lasted 20 hours spanning over 3 instances, outdoor boss, and many other activities . I would love to have few super long quest in ESO.
- WoW: Opening of the gate of ahn'qiraj in WoW. After 4 weeks of farming by the entire server population, everyone got to observe the opening. And of course the server finally crashed ha ha. We would love to see some world event, even it means opening to an expansion.
- In EQ, someone pulled a train of 50+ mobs into a place we were camping. It was hard fought battle that lasted 30 sec, and eventually all the fizzle and spark disappeared and we were all dead. I doubt pulling a TRAIN will ever be allowed in any modern MMORPG, but worth mentioning.
- EQ: Getting pushed around by mobs outside Freeport at night. The night game experience was amazing. The Gryphon (a high level mob in newbie area) meant sure death, unless you ran to the right guard. Would love to see certain abnormally in ESO where ‘run for your life’ is the normal course of action
.
- Wow: PvP in black rock mountain and jumping into the lava instead of yielding. I hope Cyrodill will have few instances in middle of warfare!
- WoW: Killing Emperor in Black Rock Depth. It was one of the biggest 5 man (initially 10 man) dungeon in the game, and could easily take 3+ hours back in vanilla wow (before the nerf).
- The Secret World: Completion of mini instance Polaris/Hell Raised/The Darkness War felt epic. The dungeons were small but extremely well design, with amazing boss fights. In one fight healer and 2 dps died. I was a hybrid dps/healer and our tank was alive. Both of us took down Machine Tyrant who was at 70% when the other 3 died. The fight lasted 40 min! I had to see a doctor for possible finger damage from keyboard mashing ha ha
- Wow: Eastern/western plague lands. I loved the art work/color/mood of that place and don't mind riding around there and watching the depressed land.
