Precisely. You would think this would be a engineer ability. If anyone has played TF2 you know why.

Anyone else think... http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/masseffect/images/3/3c/Collectors_Leader_Character_Shot.png

Exactly thats one my main points this should be an engineer ability makes no sense for it to be for an OP unless it worked specifically for turrets hacked from enemy engineers.

So....does the engineer have any choice in this?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvdf5n-zI14.

i am going to be PISSED if my turrent doesnt give me exp because an operative is controlling it!!

I'm quite sure you still get the "Turret" XP when your turret deals damage. But an Operative will get "Control Turret" XP at the same time.

God, all you Operatives are going to make me turn into an old man already.

GET OFF MY LAWN

I believe he used a Springfield Rifle.

"Team" game people. "TEAM". If that means someone taking control of a turret that is not really getting the kills it could if it was manned by a player, get over it. They already said XP is going to be in abundance. There was game play footage of a guy with 30,000 xp in a game. So, not to worry.

This might end up being a neglected ability. Being able to control a turret could probably increase its effectiveness, but it would also take a friendly unit out of the fight. It seems like a situational thing where the Op has access to a poorly positioned enemy turret and a good hiding place.
