I did.. ordered the CE book and game.. I've been paying it off monthly for 4 months now.. I'll only have to pay about 30 dollars when the game comes out. It's nice to be able to go to a store and pay for a product slowly. Makes budgeting for things a lot easier.

I actually really dislike paying for things that way because I'm basically giving someone a no-interest loan. I'd prefer to do my own budgeting and hold on to my money until I'm actually going to have the product.

I pre-ordered through Steam merely because doing so is much much more convenient. And cheaper. I'd spend more on fuel pre-ordering at a brick-and-mortar store than I would on the game itself. The pre-order packs had absolutely no bearing on where I pre-ordered from.

Same here, Mostly because it automatic updates. PLUS I have no troubles with steam (Just a simple windows 7 problem with GOTY) So therefore i preordered from steam.

I pre-ordered from GameStop before the packs were announced and thankfully, I'm very happy with the pack I'll be getting. It'll go well with the backstory of my character, that being he was in Fallout 3, and once he was done with the Capital Wasteland he headed west. By the time he gets to the New Vegas area all he has left is the armored Vault suit (ignoring the 13 and imagining a 101 on the back) the 10mm pistol Amata had given him when he escaped and 5 Stimpacks out of the hundreds he used to have (after all going across the whole country is probably a very dangerous proposition).

best buy for me i can't stand the local gamestop the place is staffed by incompetent employees, example assassins creed 2 has been out for 2 days and i go to pick it up theres about 50 copies for the ps3 i'm told that the game isn't supposed to be sold until the next day i had to spend 10 minutes [censored]ing at the manager before he checked the release date, so now i go to the best buy across the street they actually check on things for customers.

WELL...

I WANTED to preorder from the Best Buy I work at, BUT...I guess our BBY isn't l337 enough to have preorder boxes for New Vegas...

SO, I preordered it at the closest GameStop there was, and spent 40 bucks on its preorder total. So all I get to pay is 40 :3

Same deal with Reach XDD I preodered it at my BBY, but when I realized they're not doing the midnight release, I went RIGHT for GameStop, 'cause this is the LAST CHANCE I'll get to go to a Halo midnight release...I forfeit my limited edition and Elite in-game armor though :'/

If you work at Best Buy you probably already know this, but for those who don't know, if you pre-order NV from a Best Buy store, you get the coasters (just like the K-Mart ones) plus the Mercenary Pack for a $5 deposit:

Lucky you. Where I am our CE's run about $80. Fortunately, my Gamestop's not very far at all.
P.S. Why do so many of us live near Gamestops? Mine is also near a super Walmart, aTarget, a Home Depot, and a bookstore. Awesome.

You mean why are there soo many gamestops?.... There's about 5 within 12 miles from my house. Where I go to school, 3 within a 5 minute drive. Two of them are on the exact same road, just maybe 5 miles apart lol.
