friendly supermutant?

Post » Tue Feb 01, 2011 11:29 pm

The NCR rangers had a mutant member but other then that I don't think so.

Ghouls, super mutants, and humans were all known to serve in the NCR armed forces, even in the rangers.

Plural.

Ahh, I can't believe I didn't get that one, seeing how the only game I've played for the last month is FALLOUT 2.
Re-runs are fun.

I just started playing fallout 1.. Again... And when I went to Shady Sands no NPC told me how they got their cement houses or who made them but in the wikia it says it was thanks to the GECK.
But I have trust in the wikia.
It's more trustworthy than one might expect.

You can make cement out of things you find easily.

Glissening green muscular men.
Oh god, is it just me or is it getting hot in here?

I hope you're joking.

Another friendly super-mutant would be awesome.

Why would I joke about something like that?

Although funnily cement is hard enough to get right that after Rome fell no one managed to figure out how to duplicate the recipe for hundreds of years. Common materials available, good. Knowing which common materials to use, better. Knowing the proper mix ratio of common materials, priceless.

Someone in Shady Sands was clever.

Super Mutants aren't inherently good or evil. They're just like regular NPCs, only phlegm colored and giant. After the Master died, they integrated into regular society as much as people were willing to accept.

As if the packs of roving wild dogs in FO3 weren't annoying enough. "they seemed to only attack when raiders were coming at you from the other side" Now we have the same dogs but poisonous.

Hopefully Fawkes made his way to the west coast sometime after FO3.

It would be nice for the poor guy to find out he's not as much of an outcast and an oddity as he thinks he is.

Bethesda made the mutants a shooter style enemy in fallout 3. somthing to increase the pace of the game, it will shoot you on sight, you will shoot it on sight, no (of very few) exeptions. Instead of the RPG style enemy that they were in fallout one, and to a lesser extent in fallout 2 ( this being one that you can converse with and make choices that will afect the outcome of the encounter). while the mutants in fallout three made for an exellent shooter it would be fantastic to see some of the original mutant concepts. all of them big and strong with some having child-like inteligence and some- usually the leaders- boasting human or even exeptional intelect so that the muties can have there own values, storyline, and ideas.

or they could continue being used as target practice for the player
