You can't slice heaven.

I think if you managed to ignite the bomb storage bunker at Fort Constantine, you'd have a good chance. Man i wish i could have lit up those nukes...

Are books/magazines actual items that you can drop and decorate a home with like in oblivion?

I'd doubt it
you can always find burnt books to drop around your house
but they don't compare to pre-war books :read:

what id like is the possabilty to place things correctly like arias were the game asks you do you want to put something here and it places it not messing around for 30 mins placeing stin packs in a row eg. walk up to shelf interect with shelf thugh menue like chests or fridge and once you put itoms in it actuly shows them in the shelf/ this would only work with small itoms / even if you could only have 8 things on the shelf due to space

Etc, what kind of things will you do to make your home more homely?

I can't tell if you were trying to make a joke or you don't know what the word homely means.

And me, whenever I find an incredibly rare weapon or piece of armor, I create a duplicate in the console and put that up on display on my shelves.

Also Feng Shui + Owned mod = best home combo ever.

I want a bookshelf so I can collect nuka colas like I did in fo3. I put the quantums on their sides and would slide them in the bookshelf. It looked really cool. Hopefully I can find a picture.

Be nice if there was some kind of cowboy western saloon where you could have a room.

I'd really love to be able to set traps (not just mines), like the leg traps from 3... Nothing would please me more than set up a death-field before my home, and returning from a long wasteland journey to find merchants and molerats and citizens all dead and dying in the traps.

I'd like less of a 'house' in New Vegas than a Base of Operations for your character (not faction based). While the houses you could get in Fallout 3 were alright, I wanted something a bit more functional.

Ideally, I'd love a ''base'' that actually had weapon lockers for you, dressers (or even, if really high tech, a electronic closet, where clothes are put on hangers and stored in a giant room, and you can access them through a menu, or put more in). I'd want to get information from computers about the wastes (i.e. what the factions are doing, anything 'interesting' happening, ect, and also I'd want to be able to have people loyal to me guarding it.

And occasionally it would get attacked by raiders, or enemy factions, and you might be called (via your radio) to get back there and help out.

I just want a broken-down camper outside of vegas in a convenient place. A single trunk for storage will do the job, matress for sleeping and maybe a chair and table - but that may be pushing it.

Oblivion came out with the Castle DLC.

I want a Bunker/Fort that has my own personal servants in F:NV.

F:3 was a great game, better than Oblivion IMHO, but the Housing was far better in Oblivion than F:3
