The only fix I could find that would work for me, and this should be a last resort for everyone, is to delete the patch and the last saved game, then clear the hard drive's cache and see how the game runs.

I hated doing this but after trying everything I could think of, and with no one from Bethesda or Obsidian really giving us any solutions this was it.

So far the game seems to playing fine, but I have yet to enter New Vegas or play DM yet.

If you do decide to try this, try moving your saves to a usb for back up, this way if you do go this route and it does not work you still have all your saves.

Same happened to me, but I my loading either freezes, or says I don't have the available content or whatnot. Hopefully Bethesda will patch these problems, because I'm not up for making a new character.

I don't know about you guys but the problem i'm having is the loading wheel just stops and the game freezes you can still hear the music playing and all but the game wont load >:/

Yeah that doesn't work for me loading screen just stops and game freezes....when as far as completing ringos quest....saved and loaded my old save and nothing....

And now I got to the gas station on the way to Boulder City for the first time and the game file loads fine (no loading older saves just to access this file). Weird. I wonder if something happening in Novac or close to Novac weirds the game file out for some reason.
