OK, I'm going to say it...Fallout 3 was bad but come on! I never had any of the problems like I have had with New Vegas. Sure the game runs smoother, but if it freezes every time I try to fast travel or go through a door its not doing me any good, now is it?

I bet if there was a life hack were I could freeze the money I paid for this "pos" then I bet a fix would come a long real quick, wouldn't it...;-]

I'm miss my wasteland safari for the s@#t...Feral Ghouls, Fire Breathing Geckos and Deathclaws oh my.....

I agree to some degree, but somethings like this is just crazy how could the makers of new vegas not see this coming?

I dont know, my worst fear is that its become all about the money and not the gamers just with how they seem more concerned with releasing DLCs instead of fixing the game. Thats the worst case scenario...

It's an extremely complex game. No matter how good the devs are, bugs big and small are unavoidable.

Looks like I'm also afflicted with this one. I guess I'll have to delete some of my DLC if I want to be able to play HH when it comes out. The tragedy being that the only ones who get hit with this bug are the ones who were excited about the game enough to try and obtain all of the pre-order packs. Ah well... hopefully it will be fixed soon enough.

Yeah Esker, I thought of that too. The only people this bug is affecting are the fans committed enough to obtain every piece of DLC content. Sadly, I feel like being a really devoted fan has bit me in the ass. :(

I agree that bugs are going to happen, especially with a game this size. On the other hand though I think it became fairly obvious that there was a race on to get this game out as early as possible. I think that maybe if they had pushed the game back a month or two they would have caught a lot of bugs and found the solutions without having to rush to make a patch that causes other problems.

I know Bethesda has recognized this issue can you please elaborate, is this fix going to happen before honest hearts comes out? I've been waiting for Honest Hearts since it was first hinted at, and now I can't even play New Vegas until another patch is released just because I was a big fan and got all of the pre-order packs. How long are the people in this situation gonna have to wait?
I'm told we'll be addressing this in the next update for the game. Because we've never sold the packs individually, we didn't expect anyone to have 5 DLCs loaded at once.

Nope Gstaff said the next update will be after Honest Hearts, no time estimate as to how long after. That's all I got I'm afraid! :shakehead:

Thanks for the info, I'm guessing it'll be in June before old world blues. Big thanks to whoever was shortsighted enough to cause this problem in the first place.

Wanted to confirm for everybody that having the 4 pre-order packs, dead money, and honest hearts will lock you out of Fallout New Vegas. You can only have 4 downloads. If you have 4 total already DO NOT purchase Honest Hearts until a patch is released to fix this.

Thanks for the heads up... I guess I'll just hold off for now.

No problem. Supposedly they're going to fix this in the next patch, and since they usually time them around dlc's it'll probably be in late June. If you're like me you're stuck at the loading screen until then unless you wanna start chopping dlc's from your harddrve.
