Stuck on "Loading Downloadable Content. Please Wait.&#34 : Fallout: New Vegas

Well, one thing I have noticed:

You can literally have ANY four DLCs on your HDD - but having all five causes this problem. I tried just having Dead Money; just having the item packs; having some item packs and Dead Money, and these worked - EXCEPT having all five.

This problem really needs a fix as soon as possible.

Now that u mention it maybe is the modding in the dlc's weapons that's interrupting something in the update, don't know just rambling cause i put the mods on my 10mm pistol, but if they want to flawlessly release the dlc (i hope they want that) those update fixes are priority.

I can assure you it's nothing to do with save files of any sort.

Yesterday, I just started playing again, and played about five hours into a character. I then updated (with about fifty save files), and when I had the new patch, it started. Just to see, I deleted all the save files, and it's still happening. It wouldn't be to do with your character or weapons, trust me.

Though I'm not freezing, what I find odd is that I still get that message even though I have not one bit of DLC lol...

Okay, this is a final bump - just to see if anyone else has [had] these problems, and knows a solution.

If I can't get this sorted, it'll be time to ring up and start demanding some answers, to be quite frank.

I'm told we'll be addressing this in the next update for the game. Because we've never sold the packs individually, we didn't expect anyone to have 5 DLCs loaded at once.

I'm sorry, maybe it's just me but i find hard to understand why nobody expected a fan (like me and plenty others) of such an awesome product like the Fallout series, mainly this one, to get all DLC's, if they were 10 i would've got them or at least would've tried; I don't know if it's the same but with FO3 i got all DLC's and since the beginning of the game i had 0 problems and i still play it.

Well, they most likely thought the only way to easily get all four was to buy four different copies from four different outlets. I just spent hours on end trading them on GameFAQs, etc. with different codes and DLC extras I've had in the past - I doubt many others did anything like this, and I bet very few have all four. But being a dedicated Fallout fan since the original, I couldn't stop myself at just the one code ^_^.

I would have thought it was fairly reasonable to expect people to get all the packs.

I have also the same problem

I have all 4 pre order packs and dead money. Though if i un-install dead money i can play with the new update but if i install it i cannot play just the damn loading downloadable content please wait. I also left my xbox like that for 12 hours and checked it now still the same thing

I pre-ordered 4 fallout new vegas at all the differnt stores. So thats how i got all 4 pre orders

I have my own suspicions that some of the patches have been rushed to shut people up for a while. I'm not saying this is true but after months of this and evasive answers I think it could be right.

sigh, I miss the mojave. My biggest fear is the next patch isn't just coming "after" HH, it is coming before Old World Blues, which might be many months away. I cannot go that long without my precious.
