At one point, I thought a House backup has to be what Yes Man finds, whether he realizes it or not. Now I'm skeptical since that assumes a level of narrative complexity from the people who gave us The Legion and the Courier-übermensch-tabula-rasa, but anything's possible. It is the most open-ended ending of the endings.

Also, I'm sure glad no one talked to Yes Man while he was standing in front of the Tops for days.

That did annoy me...seriously. I'd talk to it normally (lookit that happy face!) If dozens of drunk people were passing it all the time, at least a few would shout random orders at it, someone would notice, someone would take it.

Yes, I thought that daft too. I'm sure the designers did it so we wouldn't have to go through two load screens to talk to him. To bad they didn't do that with House. Come on dude, pop into a securitron on the street so we can talk. (He does it at the end of his story line.) The presedential sweet svcks because of the load screens.

Depends on how you use it. Legalize it, tax the hell out of it, use the taxes to fix the economy and you've solved a big problem right there.

Evidently works on Baked who's relaxed and amiable nature is plain for all to see.

Yeah the Yes Man thing makes sense from a gameplay perspective (though, would've been better to get to your home quickly. Three loading screens after a fast travel to go to bed? le sigh) but is horrible for the story...Yeah would be nice for House to inhabit one of the innumerate securitrons dotted around, not like he's never let people see his avatar before...

I don't think Yes Man is evil at all. Rather, I think the Courier has lost his/her mind after all that slaughter, since you can't do anything even after Yes Man says right at your face that he is going to make himself independent from you. If I could have my way, I'd strip Yes Man out of all his power and keep him as a slave who can't say no rather than a Mister House Junior.

My good karma courier sided with Yes Man so she could rule Vegas with justice and happiness, not that Yes Man could just stab her in the back and become the nasty authority figure she had so hard fought to destroy.

My first playthrough was independent. When Yes Man said he was going to download more assertive program I genuinely said "Oh god, what have I done..."

Yes Man being assertive...well, maybe it's just going to make it so it can't be tampered with by another party and can actually say no. Maybe it's going to seize power itself (though what a machine would do with power is questionable, I'm more concerned about what program it's downloading, who made it...)

Same here! 1st time through, after that whole chaotic frenzied battle, the dam, Lanius, Oliver, and all, I was so relieved to have won. "Whew, that went pretty well, thanks to my army of KILLER ROBOT TANKS..." and then Yes Man drops that on me! "Wait-- what the-- oh, shlt, a whole army of killer robot ta..."

What a stunner. I just started laughing. :fallout: This game rules in so many ways.
