Too buy or not too buy? That is the question

Partner has picked this up for me today, so will be playing it tonight when she gets back from work! Looking forward to it.

Your partner picked up Crysis 2 for you? If you're haven't already, put a ring on that girl, like yesterday.

But, I really enjoyed the game. Hope you're enjoying it too! I liked how it encourages you to play how you like to play. If you like to run and gun, hit armour mode and go for it. Like stealth? Cloak and you can do that too. You can get in their face with a machine gun or snipe from high ground. The Single Player has it's rough spots, but it's nothing game breaking. The AI when moving about can look a little stupid, but if you de-cloak, they will make Swiss cheese out of your Nanosuit.

The multiplayer is touch and go. It is laggy, even at it's best. It can still be enjoyable though, I have found objective based game types, like 'Crash Site' (A moving 'King of the Hill') is a lot of fun. Requires a bit more thought and teamwork.

No games is worth 60 bucks anymore, but I bought it with credit for 30 & the only way I could be happier is if they fix the multiplayer. There are a lot of issues. It also depends if youre more of a single player guy or multi, or both...The campaign is a BLAST, love it..the multiplayer CAN be very fun, but like I said, there are a lot of problems right now.

Yes and there are people who dont have internet for their consoles so will never recieve any updates. For them games like these will never be fixed and the AI in single player is so broken its not really an enjoyable experience its just hilarious because of just how bad it is.

Sell now fix later is not a satifactory way to treat a customer. You dont see people buying pre chipped windows on their cars for autoglass to come and repair them later. It doesnt reach a suitable standard for trade and something needs to be done about it. I myself and a couple of friends (one who lives in a black spot so doesnt have internet but wanted to play single player) have chosen after all EAs poor releases this year to take this to trading standards. The failure to address more than just the PC crowd on this game has also pushed us into taking this action. Lets see how it goes.

I started a thread with details on how to do this if you wish to also take this further. Im sick of the games industry getting away with this when so many other industries are nailed by trading standards for similar scenarios.

There are details here on how to do it. It doesnt take long and it will be worth it in the long run as the people responsible will no longer be able to get away with this as they have done for far too long now on numerous releases.
