I was annoyed.
I took New Vegas out of my PS3 and slid in Fallout 3. The sun was rising on the DC Wasteland bathing the landscape golden. The Enclave were setting up their satellite dishes on hilltops and on a destroyed over-pass near Seneca Station and I was trying to avoid Albino Rad Scorpions. I found an ant cave that I hadn't found in my previous two run throughs of the game. This was about 1:30 AM. Next thing I knew it was 5:00 AM. The game didn't crash not one time and the game play was so satisfying.
If it wasn't for all the glitches and crashes I think I would enjoy Fallout: New Vegas much more. I don't know. Maybe if New Vegas didn't lag and glitch and crash I would feel like exploring more. And maybe if I could run over a plateau I would feel like exploring more. To me New Vegas just doesn't seem as vast and intricate as Fallout 3. Sure there is more dialog, blah, blah, blah, people talking at me and wanting me to do stuff for them. Um...where was I going with this. Exactly.
Right now New Vegas is an exercise in frustration for me. Hopefully they will successfully fix it and I can get on with my New Vegas life. Till then I'm going to hold off playing it because I've gotten to the point where I'm starting to hate it and I don't want that to happen.
What has your solution been to dealing with all the glitches?
