Game over + NO previous saves = SUPER disappointed

I don't understand you OP, you're saying Bethsidian should warn us.

What part of 'WARNING THERE IS NO GOING BACK, YOU ARE SIDING WITH ____, SAVE NOW BEFORE CONTINUING OR DON'T [censored] CONTINUE TO THE END BATTLE' would make any sense if you're at the catalyst point of the Battle of Hoover Dam and then go, 'wait, gonna go do some DLC, then come back and finish this.' It'd kind of break the whole point of the game Obsidian tried to present.

Is reading 'End Battle coming up, better save before hand' that hard for gamers? I swear, it's coming to a point where games will have no words or dialogue boxes, just an arrow point to 'Generic Enemy' and a loud voice going "SHOOT HIMZ!!!11!!" and one linear level with 1000 bad guys just to sate that 'kill em all' urge that seems to be rampant now.

I agree, I think the game should definitely be more clear. What if someone clicks yes by accident? Seriously, why can't they just let you back into the wasteland and not change anything? Leave it the way it is and then maybe come out with a DLC later, I don't know. But come on, let me keep playing.

'By accident' I assume you mean 'paid no attention what-so-ever because it wasn't accompanied by a voice over and all the reading is getting in the way of my pow-pow-pow!!!'

Another one of the ol' "i forgot to save threads."

Every time I do this it is always player error not game error.

Yeah that's the last generation. Now it's something like Cyber six, iPods and Blackberry's.

I've been wondering if it is actually a 100 limit save slots or is it counting them for a challenge/achievement. Has anyone went past 100 saves?

I'm on pc and I have like 256 I never save over previous data even though I'm on my third playthrough, may be a bug or something there in that save.

I find it incredibly difficult to empathize with you. Pretty stupid mistake if you ask me; trust me I made lots of saves at the end but I wasnt stupid enough to save over all my previous saves. you do know that there is no save limit, or if there is then its in the thousands, right?

On the Xbox the limit is 100. Which is still plenty.

Yes and after re-reading his post he does seem to indicate that it was the developers to blame which I apparently didn't catch in my first reading (Ironic huh? )

I offically retract my previous post. I apologize for sounding too preachy. :P

No need to apologize...you did nothing wrong. I just talk to too many people like him as part of my job to tolerate them when I'm not being paid to.
