Which do you think LOOKS better?

Night but I'd say Ebony looks the best.

I now have a reason to join the Thieves Guild. I love the simplistic badassery of the Nightingale armor. Daedric armor looks amazing, but they super crazy helm is a little much for me. That is what made my vote go to the Nightingale set; the headpiece is the deciding factor for these. Without the mask, Daedric looks better
EDIT: @ Atlas11, ebony armor does look the best when it is with Boethiah's Ebony Mail. That is just plain awesome looking. I am conflicted about whether I should wear it or put it on display. The Ebony Mail also counts toward all of the perks that the ebony cuirass does. Also the Saviors Hide looks wicked with Forsworn boots, gloves, and helm; looks appropriately tribal and wild

Without the helm, I feel Nightingale is pretty good, the helm ruins it, but thank the gods for no helmet mods. Daedric, is cool, I used it and enjoyed it for a long time but it is /so/ out of place. Ebony is as well, but at least it looks like just really ornate armor. I like Daedric because it reminds me of Dark Knight artifact armor, but yeah...it just has no place in the world they are trying to create for Skyrim.

Daedric

1st time I saw the Helmet I knew I had to have it. Nightingales really cool too... but I don't have it yet to fully enjoy it.

Besides that? Dragonbone ftw!

Both ugly. Pretty much all the armor in the game is overly ornate, gaudy and nonsensical. Weapons, unfortunately, are the same.

For my tastes anyway.

Leather and the brown Thieves Armor is probably the most decent. Some bits of the scale set are ok. For heavy the Iron and Steel are nice, everything else looks like a baroque sculpture.

We think the same way. I know a lot of people like the porcupine death lord look, but I'm for a classical armor look. Something like the Kingsguard armor in Game of Thrones would be awesome. At least in this game you can get by on lots of different armor types by investing in smithing and enchanting.

I was most disappointed by the female model of the Ancient Nord Armor. A fur tankini... really?

Nightingale. Daedric is just too spikey for my tastes.

I like them both, I think they represent totally different character types.

Nightingale. Daedric looks like it belongs to a super villain from Power Rangers.

Comparatively, if you put ears on Nightengale, you could look like Steampunk Batman

I prefer the the Thieves Guild armor best, and prefer the GM version because it's black. But, I'm also confused because the two armors you list include one light version and one heavy version. I would wear which ever one fits the style of play I'm using. I wear light armor, but as far as looks, Daedric looks a little better. I'm not a fan of the Nightingale mask (or the cape, really). I also play a Khajiit, but still think they all look good.

Daedric needs to lose the giant spike things on top of the pauldrons. Seriously - Dragonplate with scale helmet, because the plate helmet looks like a Nord Gimp-Mask and no self-repsecting elf would be caught dead in one of those.

Head - Vokun
Chest - Blade Armor
Gloves - Daedric
Boots - Nightingale (may find something better eventually)

Still haven't found a dagger I really like, slitting throats with the back side of a single edged dagger irritates me.

Since Ebony Armor isn't on the list, I voted Daedric. It may look strange, but it looks THICK. Looks like anyone who tries to hurt you is going to have a really bad day trying to cut through that glowing, malevolent metal, while you are trying to kill them back.

Nightingale.

Daedric armor on a character makes them look like a medieval drag queen who didn't make the cut when the Village People were putting their act together.

I actually don't like either, they look so out of place in Skyrim...like you're dressing up as a superhero/villain to walk around in viking land. My favorites are the wolf armor from the Companions, the basic leather set, and Ebony.

None.. I don't like those fancy Weapons and Armor..

I prefer the Old-Fashioned Iron and Fur armors and Steel Sword.

I would have to say Nightingale.

I like both, but I'm not silly enough to think that Daedric doesn't look rather ridiculously over the top. Most top-tier armor does, in my opinion. Which is kind of unfortunate, but that's getting off topic.

Anywho, Nightingale is the lesser of the over the top-ness, and even though it's a bit overdone, I think it looks pretty awesome.

Neither helm has the proper profile for a Khajiit face. In order for a Khajiit to fit in either, they would have to somehow squash their own head.

Peed my pants!

Du na nana du na nana du na nana BATMAN!!! ... yeah no thanks :P

Although I do use the nightingale boots in my armor set up since I like them more than the boots you get with the thieves armor.
