Part of the secret of successfully playing dead is dead is to embrace the concept of "live to fight another day". If you are out-matched, run. I intend to attempt this play style, for as long as possible. They did this in LOTRO, where you'd get a special achievement when getting all the way to lvl 20 without dying. Similar achievements would be awesome in this game. But of course.. there tends to come a point where adhering to this totally kills ur buz, as in your 60+ hour char dies a [censored] type death. I've heard some interesting ways to get around this though, like making yourself spend a week of game time in town to "recover" after a defeat. Dropping/destroying some or all of the gold, loot, equipment you were carrying at death, and keep a backup set of gear in store. If nothing else, these last few options forces you to switch gears after being defeated, and giving yourself some time before attempting whatever feat that killed you again. And though not as severe as dead is dead, still carries with it powerful, somewhat realistic, reason not to die.
