Not really but compared to you, probably! Kidding.
Installing a game to your HDD makes it to where all the data loads from the HDD itself. Once you start your new game, first go around in Skyrim, everything you do and see is cached to the HDD. Therefor the next time you do something that was already done previously, its load time should be somewhat quicker and less freeze-happy.
I smell what your steppin' in son, but I cannot tell any difference what so ever. I don't normally install to the HDD. Two years ago, i was having issues with games lagging and freezing. I researched the problem on the Xbox site. They said to install. No help still same things. It wasn't until I started, keeping the cache cleared, that the issues went away. Installed or not. Since then I have tried and tested three other games due to load times. There were no increased loads that were detectable.
I understand how and what it supposed to do, but from what I've experienced it does not. There have been others reporting in other threads the same thing. Increases? Let's say yes. Enough to tell? I will say no.
