Here is a transcript.
Soop: What can you tell me about the Character creation segment of the game?
Cortexe: The character creation is great! It's very customizable
Soop: Is it similar to what they had in Oblivion?
Cortexe: Yeah a bit, but it feels way more customizable and I had the feeling it was more like my own character :3
Soop: Ahh great, Oblivion was quiet extensive in its customisation. Would you say that Skyrim is just as extensive or more accessible?
In terms of being able to create faces that look "right", I know it was difficult to avoid deformed looking characters in
Oblivion.
Cortexe: To be totally honest i had trouble making a deformed looking character here It's feels better and looks better.
my girlfriend had a go at the game herself and actually made a really cute character which i had problems with in oblivion
(thank god i had the pc version so i could mod the hell out of it) xD
Soop: That's great to hear.
I don't know how far you've gotten yet, but does there seem to be a reasonable amount of variety in the Armour's?
Oblivion was stale due to the fact that just about everyone was dressed the same and it took literally hours to find a new
piece of armour.
Cortexe: Yeah it has loads of variety! i haven't met a single person who looks the same (except guards and people who are
supposed to do that ) though i'm not all that far with all the deaths and the ages of travelling xD
Soop: Also sound promising.
How have you found the time and traveling speed?
Does the character move slow, does time pass quickly?
Is there a sense that the distance needed to be covered is great? (Compared to say traveling from Anvil to Cheydinhal? )
Cortexe: Travelling Takes a while even on horseback. Character moves at the speed you would expect somebody to move, my
first horse is a bit slow though xD but it takes time because the world actually feels HUGE! i've barely left my first city
yet it feels like i've traveled days on end (thank got for fast-travel. wasn't expecting to use it but i was proved wrong )
Time passes at a seemingly natural pace and in my opinion, bethesda has done a good job on both aspects
Also Traveling at night can be really scary since I've seen mammoth's and giants in day-time and it freaked me out and to
know they're probably still there with more stuff creeping around aswell i just want to go to an inn and sleep unlike in
oblivion and morrowind
Soop: That sounds great, thanks for your insight!
