Light Armour Vs Heavy Armour?

Sorry - prock? Not familiar with the term.

Wait. My simulation was to look at the order of nullified hits vs non nullified hits. So I didn't use Combinations or Permutations myself.

I.e. attacks 1 - 15 were non-nullified, attacks 16 and 17 were nullified, attacks 18 - 56 were non nullified and so on.

Your method (with combinations etc.) sounds legit. I am not that much of an expert on the subject - I'm finishing off high school this year, but dropped Stats coz with NCEA it becomes more of an english essay, or so I've been lead to believe.

As for my own method, I screwed all the niceties I could only semi remember, after looking for my notes book from last year and failing to find it (probably ritual burning, but come to think of it I didn't use it much for my revision as I knew all the material, so it's probably wandered off into the sunset by now) and instead just plugged it straight into an excel spreadsheet. Much faster for me than doing a calculator method.

Sorry about that. Prock, in this case, pretty much just means a success or "it happened".

Oh I missunderstould. I see what you did there. In game you could probly expect something more like 1-4 attacks un-nulled. 5 nulled. 6 and 7 un-nulled. 8 nulled. 9 and 10 un nulled. That wouldn't be too much of a stretch.
Although your sim was legit it does kind of yell unusual. But still. I'm ok with the perks. I'll definitely be picking up the deft movement perk.

And thats ok since its a single player game.

Sweet. Thank you very much.

Yes. Perhaps my sim was actually too large? Smaller samples had closer groupings?

Ha yes indeedy. I dunno. Now we've talked about the relaxing maths.. Hmm. Maybe its a good thing after all?

Oh no problem :intergalactic:
Hmm you know, maybe your onto something there. Your sample was really accurate with 115 procks/successes out of 1000 but with such a large sample it is possible it highlighted some more unusual permutations like the ones you saw. If you want try it with only a hundred and I think we'd come up with similar results.
That is interesting that you got such a large span without any procks though. My theory is because we had such a large sample size 20 or so events in succession is not unusual since 20 is so small in comparison to 1 thousand. If i'm right there were probably many success strings as well where 8 or 9 blows were nulled in a row?

Lol ah yes, all those relaxing calculations. Haha it was a good thing.

This just in: in addition to consolidating all armor sets into one slot, Bethesda have decided to consolidate heavy and light armor into one armor class.

When asked for clarification, a Bethesda employee opined, "Streamlining is really our motto, and we determined that having multiple skills for the same thing, armor, really confused a lot of new players out there. After all, in COD there's only one perk for damage, and one for reload speed, not two for damage and three for reload speed. And we really didn't want to alienate all the hardcoe gamers out there from COD and games like it. So we streamlined the whole armor system and now we think it'll accommodate new players, particularly from FPS games, a lot better. Also it's streamlined."

This was completely unrelated to anything being discussed in this thread. And, to be honest, i'm not even sure what you are complaining about. The cutting of some useless skills/attributes that no one used ever? Everyone complained on the same boards about how useless those very skills and attributes were and how they shouldn't be in the game. All bethesda did was listen to their fans.

The skills svcked and all the ones that were cut had clear issues and didn't deserve to have their own skills. Especially the attributes which were only an illusion of choice as it was clear what the power house stats were for any character.

EDIT: if its about how the legs and chest are combined its because they made them in sets. This makes it impossible for characters to look stupid just as well as allowing them to make far MORE armor sets.

This also just in: according to a highly placed reliable source, no one ever used levitation, ever. It has been duly deleted.
