Arguing with a CoD really devoted fan over Skyrim.

To be fair, if someone insulted Duke Nukem when they'd never played it, and it wasn't their type of genre. Even if it's bad, I'd still defend it.

I saw a CoD fan the other day...
...horrible creatures.

(understand i refer to the brainless type, not the mature cod fans, wich are ok)

I quit FPS for RPG a half a year ago and I love it! Not getting into it but with CoD, you'd have more fun pouring salt on an open wound.

It's my opinion you guys! If you love it good for you.

Oh, I got punched for telling a CoD fan that Battlefield was better.

Real soldiers > Fake Soldiers.

They also kick the snot out of people that attack them.

That CoD fan is getting riled up because someone else thinks that another game is better than the game that he likes. That's exactly the same as what you're doing, you're both as bad as each other.

I tried getting my little cousin to play Morrowind. I said "What about this? It's a game that actually requires thinking and skill instead of spamming grenades."

He replied with "THINKING IS FOR STUPID PEOPLE NOW WHERE THE HELL IS MY BLACK OPS"

Living in the past and saying how the classic Tom Clancy games and Goldeneye would kick the [censored] out of CoD and BF3 is easily done, but look at the figures, sales, number of users..

Gaming is so much bigger than it ever has been and its growing, Call of Duty and Battlefield are what you make them, if you think they are utter [censored], dont play them, simple...

That said, off to play MW3 until we set off for Skyrim in 9 hours.

BF3 for me, and more than 9 hours sadly.

I'll admit i have spent a freakish amount of time getting intamate with cod and there is good cod games but after see mw3 is barely an improvment over black ops that costs 40 pound it just disgusted me that people are gladely saying every game but cod is [censored] even tho mw3 is a rehashed mw2 and the fans act like it's the second coming and just buy it because it's another cod game .

I love MW3, been playing it all day since monday midnight, i think the whole CoD vs life arguments are petty, its a great multiplayer game, no doubt, its not 2.5 for those calling it that either, graphically it has improved slightly, its a lot smoother than any other FPS.

And guess what, i also love Skyrim, probably more than MW3.

Point of my little rant, you can enjoy more than one genre.

Someone with some sense, I like that.

I don't mind CoD, I've played with my friends before and it's not terrible, but I'd rather have an Elder Scrolls game any day.

I own Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and (soon) Skyrim. I also have several Call of Duty titles, including Modern Warfare 2. I plan on eventually getting MW3 sometime after getting Skyrim... eventually. Sometimes I'm in the mood for a shooter. Sometimes I'm in the mood for a role-playing game.

Lets not get into fights over games. Or post about it.
