The truth is, I order a lot of stuff from amazon, and it's always arrived on time. As far as online retailers go, I can't think of a better one.

I preordered in June, it says shipping soon, expected delivery date November 15. I think I chose the wrong delivery choice--I chose one day delivery instead of release day delivery. Oh well, maybe by Tuesday the downloading from Steam won't take as long as it has for many of the people today.

Like many of you, I preordered skyrim from amazon. It's currently saying it will "ship soon," while simultaneously saying the expected delivery date is 11/11/11.

Is this what you guys are experiencing too? Do you think amazon will deliver by tomorrow?

Getting mine from Amazon.co.uk and it shipped on wednesday , expected delivery tomorrow. :mohawk:

My preorder, same day delivery, shows as "Shipped" with Nov 11 as the delivery estimate.

I view Amazon as one of the most reliable companies around.

Like RAF1940, I got my delivery message and tracking number a few minutes ago. I live in Nashville, the UPS central hub is in Memphis, so a delivery date of tomorrow is believable.

Gamestop has mine enroute; in Dallas now according to UPS. Hopefully my UPS guy will drop it before i have to go to work..

Don't worry, OP.

The same thing happens every time I pre-order on amazon - the system just probably didn't update your tracking and/or order status.

All the times this happens - getting no confirmation in the shipping the night before - it ends up in my doorstep in its release date.

When I pre-ordered BF3 for release date delivery I read many comments from people who got a "now shipping" status early the previous day. I however didn't get that email until late at night(around 2am),,,but the game most surely did arrive release day around 2pm.

Don't worry, it just takes time for them to update the status is what I think you are going through.
