What's the verdict?

My negatives is that the camera in third person is waaaaaay to close to the character wich makes it kind of useless cause you can't see nothing. And there is no way to move the camera afar from yourself.
Texture is a bit so so but overall its great so far.

?? You can zoom out in 3rd person on PC using the mousewheel.

regenerating health - svcks.
one handed swordplay - clunky and slow
inventory management - hand gymnastics
3rd person finishers - awful.

and overall the framerate is pretty poor... check the swamps around solitude to know what I mean. Fallout/Oblivon were a LOT smoother.

Skyrim is great, the world is fantastic.. but its not without its flaws.

The game is amazing. The people complaining are being nit-picky about little things. Believe the critic reviews on this one. Simply put, this game is awesome, and while it might have a couple of things here or there that will likely be patched, there is so much MORE in the game to make you forget about the nit-picky crap people are complaining about!

I'm ashamed to admit I let them get me nervous to. Totally unfounded!! Is the game perfect? No. It's still incredible though. I'm just getting primed up to go play now that I have some coffee in hand. :)

After some graphical tweaks to get it looking a bit better, I am enjoying it so far. Two HUGE complaints from me so far would be....

1) Again, Point of Interest markers completely destroy any exploring in the game. No... you can't just turn them off the compass. And No, you can't reduce the opacity of the compass alone without losing subtitles and interaction displays. Stupidest thing ever in an open world game to be quite frank.

2) Second stupidest thing in a RPG. Why oh why do I have topics coming up when interacting with NPCs that I have NO KNOWLEDGE about? I can only assume this is a major bug in the game, because I can't quite even come up with a rational explanation why a developer would do such a thing on purpose?

The game is awesome.

It has a different feel to it than I expected - not one that I can really put my hands on. I guess I can tell that it's a new engine.

But the game is great so far.
