Accidentally ordered 2 copies!

Um, go to Gamestop and cancel your preorder?

Too late, I ordered online and it already shipped.

Would I be able to return it at a store, or do I have to send it back?

Ah, chances are you have to send it back, as long as you don't open the game box... Go through Gamestops return policy, they'll probably pay for the shipping so you're not out any money. Or you can eBay it, I'm sure you can get face value for it, again as long as it's unopened.

Not sure how that would work, seeing as I'm charged for the game when it ships. Would I just be able to call them up to get my money back?

In the UK anything you buy online can be returned unopened within a few days for a refund. It's the law, shops can't refuse. Don't know if it's the same where you are.
Idea is to stop scammers because buying online is essentially buying blind, you can't see it before you buy it.

my brother in law is a manger of a game stop. he said you take the copy to the store unopened and return it. you will be out the shipping. but that is better than the whole amount.

Awesome, that makes my life a lot easier. And gamestop does free shipping with orders over $50, so I'm good there

Now I just have to find a nearby Gamestop. Maybe EB games would work, since they're owned by them

email me if you have a problem...i don't know if there is anything he can do but i could try. he is a regional type manager...he might be able to call that store. he lives in fl and made calls to stores here in alabama and they have done as he asked.

just to be sure...i called my buddy chris that manages the local gamestop as well. he said for you to be sure to bring the shipping information (conformation) and you can return it to any gamestop in the country. so two managers said you could.
he also said that the best buy would probably take there's back as well.
ok, im done. Marine...I don't rest until the mission is a sucess, lol
