What kind of performace are you getting?

Though my FPS stayed the same High Performance introduced hitching to my game.

I hated the hitching in Oblivion and the Fallouts, and was very happy it was gone Skyrim. So back to Balanced for me.
Heh, guess it's one of those 'nice if it works for you' things - or a complete red herring, and my improved FPS have nothing to do with the power plan :D.

Sapphire Radeon HD 6950 2GB
6GB Corsair DDR3 1333
i7-930
Corsair 750W
1920x1080

On default ultra-high settings. Haven't bothered with FPS cuz haven't needed to.... I'm a teensy-weensy bit disappointed with the graphics. It's nice to be able to seen far in the distance without the horizon fog that developers were in love with a few years ago. On the other hand, the objects in the distance tend to look cartoony. I've had two desktop crashes but the game recovered close enough to the original spot of the foul that it didn't bother me.
