Not planning to spend perks in Alteration

yesterday I made the same conclusion... but today I realized how wrong I was.
theres way too many goodies in alteration for a mage that far surprass anything heavy armor gives, especially in max difficulty setting where heavy armor isnt enough to survive power attacks while the extra sprinting time and base speed with alteration paralysis and shields/wards, do the job much better(wards are from resto but still) .
also will be confirming if the dual enchantings suffer penatly from being used on heavy armor or not, once I get 100 enchanting and grand souls, cuz so far all enchants I done on heavy armor came out lesser than clothing
