[Run around a rock as your health/mana/stamina regenerate, then just keep whittling them down.

Or level up. I am level 29 and can take a giant on the highest difficulty(legendary?) now. I also have legendary dragon armor.

I am lvl 23 and can take them on now problem, Trolls even frost trolls are easy just shout lvl 3 knock him over, power swing with 2 hander 60-70% of his hp is gone before he stands up. And giants i just go tow to toe with and beat the crap out of them.

The only mobs what i find bloody hard to kill are blood dragons.

I like it. But my shout of UF does not do that. I have all three words and it hardly pushes them back at all.

u holding down the shout button, like the greybeards teaches you?

^ when you hold down you hear him say the first word then the second then the third. Need to hold all the way down to take these guys off their big feet

I don't get the trouble with trolls? They hit pretty hard but at level 21 dual wielding i kill them much faster than they kill me.

Why would you stop playing cause something is too hard to kill?

I wish there was more mobs in this that are too hard.

I wish this game would be a mix of Skyrim with Dark Souls, where every fight will be a fight for your life, and not just swinging your sword and waiting for something to die.

I faced a giant too, and he stomped me to death in 1 hit. I was laughing and was really glad. Finally. Not some nerd herd giant with a club you can bash to pieaces at low level.
Im sure you can handle giants well when you are in your 20+, as it should be.
Sabre cats and Trolls are also tough, and its awsome. I want to be able to die, not be some immortal thing running around in my knickers killing enemies left and right.
A game is not good until you know that you can easily die from an encounter and need to bring out your best play to succeed.
Im also glad Skyrim have taken away the easy settings and "normal-Adept" is the only setting you can have as lowest.
Personally I think they should have removed that too and had one setting, Expert. And left it at that.

I play on expert level. Its feels about right.

I've been looking through a lot of threads, looking for advice on how to fight giants and trolls. I'm starting to wonder if the difficulty with giants is payback because a lot of us complained about the animation of the giant being dropped by the dragon in the demo - (now we are the ones dropping)

just summon 2 dremora lords and a bow then have at 'em... easy

I can kill trolls with 3 hits with my axe, and im 26 lvl. Giants are harder and they kill me with about 4 hits, but if I attack them with bow from distance and when they have only half hp I can kill them easily using melee.
