I have positioned the pillows (we have way too many), cushions and a large quilt (it's freezing here) on a spare matress to make a luxury pit, complete with mini-fridge and a short walk to my en-suite. My pit is positioned directly in front of my 32inch Plasma, running on my Xbox 360 in HD. For dinner, I am ordering Dominos Pizza. Specifically a large, stuffed crust pepperoni with a 2 litre bottle of Dr.Pepper. Standard.

You will. After USAF BMT and conventional/nuclear weapons school back in the day, I had a good chunk of change saved up within that year. Enough for a new PC, down payment on a car and some spending/saving cash. It's up to you though.

My 19 inch > any TV bigger than 32 inch

I like as much image quality as I can retain on console.

My PC will be benefiting from 100 percent natural cooling. In other words I don't have any heat in my room so I'll be getting the full Skyrim experience if you know what I mean.

Just bought a 22 inch 1080p monitor, a Radeon 6950, and a really comfy computer chair just for Skyrim. Total cost: around $540. Totally worth it. I'll also be rocking http://www.amazon.com/Razer-DeathAdder-Infrared-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B000MF67VO beast of a mouse.

Plugged a custom built PC (containing an I7 2600K , a Radeon 6970 and a 120GB SSD) into a 55" Panasonic vt30 plasma tv..as for the snacks, I'll stick to water. Luckily, Nov. 11 happens to be a day off for us at work

Spent ~$1500 on PC upgrades and accessories. Including a 24" 1080p monitor and a very nice headset. Not all specifically for Skyrim but it is what I am looking forward to the most right now.

Setup won't be anything special. Just my computer and I. Food to be determined. Work until 11 pm on Thursday, get home and make sure it's all set up and downloaded. Get up around 6 am and play until I need to work again at 3 pm.

Can't justify calling in sick since I've only been at the job a few weeks.

First post. :D

I'll be running Skyrim on my PC, which I affectionately named GLaDOS. She sports an i5 2500k 4.0GHz CPU, 2x SLI GTX 560 TI 2GB cards, and 8GBs of RAM, outputting across three lovely 24" 1920x1080 displays in Surround for a total of 5760x1080 (not accounting for bezel correction). Here's hoping, if Surround/Eyefinity isn't natively supported (I don't know why it wouldn't be in this day and age and for this type of game), someone will come up with a solution shortly after launch. My headset is the Creative Labs HS-980. Before, I was using a TekNMotion Pulsar SX, which was an excellent headset that lasted for years until it finally broke.

So far as food goes, I foresee lots of chips and drinks in my near future. Foods that are easy to munch on and don't require a lot of prep time. Maybe some Gatorade to keep the electrolytes up. :D
