Why is it that restoration is always seen as the "good" set of spells, and drain spells the set of "evil" spells? Isn't it more important how you use the spells?
Besides, every iteration of a Death Knight that I've seen had some sort of self-healing capability, whether that be Death Coil from WC3, or negative energy spells from D&D.
I wasn't trying to make it sound good or bad. I believe that a deathknight archtype would be better served with a drain type of spell. Restoration does not sound like a deathknight in any way in my opinion.
I really don't care if he is a good or evil deathknight. I just really see deathknights as the "drain your soul while they laugh maniacally" kind of people.
Edit: And just a little info about Death Coil, it damages your enemies and heals your undead forces. Which is not a self healing ability. And a negative energy spell causes critical wounds to living things and heals undead things.
