- Novie Fireball ( takes 1 second to charge, 10 dmg)
- Apprentice Fireball (takes 1.5 seconds to charge, 15dmg, slightly improved radius)
- [..] Fireball (takes x seconds to charge, x dmg, slightly improved radius)
- [..] Fireball (takes x seconds to charge, x dmg, slightly improved radius)
(and so on)
Is it really that much to ask for.. to have some spell scaling? :/ If anyone played fable (1-2) they now what kind of spell mechanics i'm talking about, in general it's what makes the most sense - by using a certain destruction spell (let's say fireball) you should be able of improving it & get new attributes and not having it being flying matchstick that does 10pts dmg at all levels.
TL;DR It feels pathetic charging a little frost snowball while being a lv25 battlemage, novice spells becomes useless / unsatisfying - why not use an upgrading system like you did with the shouts?
1. What's the point in charging a low dmg spell like fire bolt? And why can't I charge it longer for a higher dmg / bigger fireball?
2. Why did you remove the option to craft spells? You had 6 years since oblivion to perfect the spell system, instead you settle with dual spell wielding ( which in theory just adds a slightly different animation IF your using 2 spells of the same kind. ) Using fire + frost only shoots fire in one hand and frost in the other.. what's the point?

Heres a good example of great spell scaling / combination: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIkDF9U1rNY
That's satisfying combat, you can mix spells, you can charge them - no need to go through 2k+ of spells.
Overall great game, but you really need to pay more focus in gameplay mechanics and real world interaction imo, it's very much alike Oblivion spell wise and no real world interaction.
And inb4 "crafting spells is too OP" no it isn't, I have a archer and I one shot everything, I have a warrior and I 1-2 hit everything, mages are suppoed to have high dmg output and you decide what spells you think is fair, it's a SP game afterall.
