I am level 30 and I probably haven't done 40% of the game from considering how large the map is to where I've been and the long list of unfinished quests.
What I find strange with this level scaling is that one moment I am killing high-level creatures in one quests and the next I am killing rats for a little sidequest when a mage comes a long (who would have been easily killed in 3 hits if I was a level 4) kills me in consecutive, pinpoint accurate fireballs.
I am finding this a lot that I am some huge hero then doing mediocre tasks and then back to something HUGE again. I know this is a sandbox game but I like forward progression, not back and forth, its not natural in life and feels weird in a game.
Does you understand what I mean? Perhaps I should have stayed around the beginning area of the map for longer before venturing out because returning to earlier areas seems silly.
