I expected much more depth out of this game.
The combat is fine, I wasn't expecting much out of Bethesda in this department anyway.
I just feel like there isn't as much content as there should be.
Ex: The cities seem lacking. Not enough shops, NPCs, etc. Windhelm is supposed to be a sanctuary for Dunmer after the events of Red Mountain. Why are there only like 5 in the entire town?
In no way do I think this game is horrible, I've been playing it non-stop since its release.
I just don't think it's up to par with what the finished product should have been. Especially after all that pre-game hype that I was gullible enough to believe.
Do any of you feel the same?
I agree. Not enough NPCs not enough shops. Less quests (the faction quests... jeez seriously? 5-6? that's it? instant leader?
At the same time the quality of what is in the game is very high for a bethesda game... So I don't really know what to think I love the extra care they've put into the quests, pretty much for the first time while doing the faction quests I often surprised myself thinking "holy... the presentation and scripting of these quests is actually not generic? in a TES game? wow" Considering how big this game is, it's a nice achievement. There is less content but the content is so much better. Still, it's hard to not miss having to actually work your way up in the faction's ranks, now it's just a given, you're the hot guy after 1 quest, top guy after 6...
, I love the better designed dungeons, I love the finally acceptable character models. But I miss the number of quests we had in previous TES games. I guess we can't have both, but I really really hoped we could.
