Castle Vanity from Super Valis IV (snes) .
Toyko from Valis I (Gen/Mega).
Fountain of Dreams (SSBM).
Vvardenfell (TES III: Morrowind).
Zemmeth Island (Ys: Ark of Napishtam PS2 or PSP): I love it because the music that plays there makes the scene breath taking.
The Alma Trials (Ys: AoN PS2).
Kingdom of Zeal (Chrono Trigger).
The Dead Sea (Chrono Cross).
Test (Pole Position II).

The entirety of Okami is just one big pleasure for your eyes. I could play it only to walk around and watch the scenery. And the small cutscenes that come when you... well you know if you've played it... those are simply gorgeous!

Child - Metro 2033

It consists of finding a lone child trying to wake up his dead uncle and he climbs on your back and you have to shoot the mutants and bring him back to his mother.

What ? That was horrible, the controls were off. They could have just slowed you down instead, but noooo its much better to making it harder to aim. Then you have infinately spawning lurkers.

Pretty much every single level in my favorite game of all time, Super Mario Galaxy. But good levels in recent memory are The Canyon from LittleBigPlanet, the Boss Egg fight from Sonic Generations, and Old World Blues from Fallout: New Vegas. Cliffhanger from Modern Warfare 2 is amazing as well; even if I don't have the game anymore, I still have the Cliffhanger demo installed.

The comments by the kid made up for it. :)

I don't know why, but the kittle Rusky kids in the game are cute lol Like the part when that boy leads you to Bourbon. I got the achievement of not giving him a bullet. I felt terrible :P

I'd have to add that Anomalous Materials then Unforeseen Consequences in Half-Life take the cake for being the most immersive and exciting to an new gamer, at the first play-through only a young-boy. These levels always bring back that feeling of hope and possibility for computer games that has rarely been matched. And to think that they did it all without cutscenes! Amazing! The rest of the action-packed, adrenaline driven epic shooter was fun and great, but those first "levels" (perhaps "Chapters is the appropriate term") get me excited. As much as I love those aforementioned Thief levels, Half-Life's beginning cannot be overrated.

In no real order:

1. Bioshock- Fort Frolic. (Sander Cohen is an awesome and well written character.)
2. Fallout: New Vegas- Dead Money. (What an amazing story, what beautiful gameplay and Dean Domino is an epic character.)
3. Hitman: Contracts. (The final mission in the hotel was very tense and heart pounding for me)
4. LA Noire. (The whole game)
5. Saints Row the Third (http://deckers.die is such an amazing mission to me)

Edit: lol it turned the mission name into a code snippet. dont click that, it's a dead link.

Definitely to both of these.

My talks with God were some of my favourite moments in New Vegas.

Lonesome Road is my favourite DLC for Fallout: New Vegas though.

When you defeat Gary for the first time after choosing your first pokemon, after realising that dike always chooses the stronger one to yours
Halo 3, Legendary, Iron Skull, 4 players, finish a level with everyone in ghost.....That was the hardest 7hours of my life and worth 0 gamerscore but was also the greatest and funniest experience I've ever had on a game and I did it twice! - on the final mission/level.
