Worst half-time show ever

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 2:40 pm

Other than the fact they are all different songs.....
Not to mention different hair styles!

Whats wrong with it being commercialized. Is this a hipster thing?
I didn't say there was anything wrong with it...it's their half-time show to do what they want with. It does contribute to making the experience very "samey," though, IMO.

So if you went to a Maddona concert. Then the next day went to a Rolling Stones concert. Then the next day went to a Black Eyed Peas concert. THEN the next day went to a The Who concert.

They would all be sorta the same?

So if you were to place an apple, an orange, a bannana, and a graqefriut in a bowl and only ate some of them all....they would all taste sorta the same?

Yeah, if you did a mash-up of various songs as one song with a bunch of back-up dancer coriography and sponsor pandering in the middle of a football field at the Super Bowl they'd all be kinda samey. Even the fruit. It's not so much the artist that's playing, but rather the format and production that makes it all a bit repetitive to me. It's just my opinion, though, so I'm not sure why you're so hot on contradicting me. It's ok if we disagree. :foodndrink:

Oh, and I did see a pre-Fergie Black Eyed Peas concert at a small bar in 2000 when they were actually a hip-hop act. Other than that you'll never catch me at a Black Eyed Peas concert.

Myself and a group of friends stay up late every year to watch the Superbowl and get absolutely hammered, we have since we were about 15 (I'm 21 now).

Each year we still have no idea what's happening, no concept of the rules, plays, tactics etc...

I still enjoy myself though.

Fell asleep for the second time running.
Trust America to ruin what would be a perfectly enjoyable game by cramming it full of crap.

It wasn't great, it wasn't bad. It defiantly wasn't the worst of all time. I'm almost positive they weren't really singing though.

Who I DO blame would be those two talentless overrated hacks of the "party rock" group LMFAO
Well, they can dance, so there's something.

I don't think it's hit Madonna that her prime time is gone and passed.

She's not stupid, guys.

She has no other abilities. What else would she do with her time? Apart from opening Hard Candy gyms in heavily homosixual cities.

She's bored/wants money/doesn't want people to forget about her.

I'm certain that Madonna makes enough money on royalties and [censored] that she doesn't need to keep working to make money.

Beat me to it.

It's the horrid fact she's, what, 51 or something and thinks it's sixy for a women that age to be doing those moves in such little clothes, I don't even think she's attractive either, even in her youth.

At least it was better than the Black-eyed peas last year.
