Is it true for you?

I was good at both. I disliked English more, but I always passed with good grades and my instructors told me that they enjoyed reading my papers.

If I wasn't so lazy, I might be able to do something with my life. :P

I am good at anything math or science related, and only recently have I been able to write an essay in under 45 minutes.
I may be good at all of those things, but my conversational skills are somewhere between a brick wall and a rotten tomato.

Yea, I think this is generally true... I think someone either has their skills spread out and balanced, or exceed in certain things, while not being so good in others.

For example, I'm pretty slow when it comes to physics, yet general mathematics is much quicker for me. In more depth, I'm doing my first year in my undergraduate for a degree in mathematics, and the linear algebra and (theory) calculus courses are fun and relatively natural for me. In difference, I am also taking intro. physics (forced to), and its either because I hate the course (I would say I like the study of physics), or something else, because it just takes me forever to read the material and be able to apply the ridiculous amount of nonsense and 'facts' the book throws at me... That course makes me so mad...

Good time to vent: I hate the book, "Physics for Engineers and Scientists," by Knight guy. I hate it, hate it, and hate it some more.

I'm relatively good at all subjects, but I hate them all the same.
