Personally, from the video, I thought that Skyrim looked awesome. Sure, the combat isn't incredibly realistic and intense and the graphics aren't jaw-dropping, but that's not what The Elder Scrolls is about. TES is about the open-world, freedom of choice and exploration of Bethesda's unique brand of RPG games.
Crysis is gorgeous, but it's multiplayer isn't as good as Battlefield or Call of Duty. Dawn of War 2 is graphically solid and tactical, but it lacks large-scale warfare that features in Total War. World of Warcraft is incredibly successful as an MMO but it's graphics svcks compared to many non-MMO games. No single game can be good at everything, it can only be good at what it's meant to be good at, and IMO, Skyrim is looking to be very successful at what it has aimed to achieve.
