Stop screwing over the PS3.

My frame rate was going down on my Xbox and then finally froze completely. I just installed it to my hardrive and everything was fine. Don't know if you can do that with a PS3 though.

How is pointing out a problem that gets progressively worse being a cry baby? When you spend 30+ hours in a game and it get's laggy as hell. I've almost died from the frame rate drops personally and it's pretty lame. The fact that it only gets worse as you go on is why its a big problem. I could see this being game breaking if it's not fixed in a patch;

didnt say the crying part was about what they say...its about how they say it...crying about it like a little girl WAHHH IM SO F-IN MAD WAHHH, grow the [censored] up seriously its a game! how can u seriously let a video game you only spent 60 dollars on get you this mad. life is test of adaptation, not throwing temper tantrums when something doesnt go your way. if you really think some frame rate thing on a game is that important to you then go right ahead and waste your time complaining.

in the end what im trying to say is...this framerate thing became life breaking for this kid, not game breaking.

The PS3's installation is mandatory.

I want a comment from Bethesda on this one way or another. I'm not letting this thread die.

Pete hines is acknowledging everything but the PS3 lag issue, probably because they can't fix/cba to fix like fallout 3.

I'm on a PS3 that's a good 2, maybe 3 years old. Has seen a lot and has some performance issues thanks to my son messing around with it and putting dirty games in. Any issues I get playing Skyrim, which isn't a lot, I contribute to the previous fact.

Only bug I've encountered is the Forsworn Conspiracy quest bug. Other than that, it runs like a thing of beauty

No offence, but the PS3 have always had about half the frame rate of Xbox in any cross platform game.
Simply due to the hardware in the xbox is better in general.
They could fix this on the PC, cause the hardware do allow for it. But it would require it to be specifically programmed for the PS3.

Blame sony for as always, need to go their own road, and as such, unless games are specifically designed exclusive for the PS3, where they shine, they will always always fall behind Xbox 360.
There is not one titel out there, that is cross platform, where the xbox does not outfperform the PS3 is 75%+ of all points.

Sad but true when PS3 does have the capabilities to make Skyrim run smooth, but again, it requires that bethesda more or less start over with the coding and do a version exclusive for PS3, and that wont happen.

Buy an Xbox.
PS3 beats xbox only with their exclusive titels. The PS3 graphics shines there, but not much more then Xbox.
On anything else, PS3 quite frankly sux.
No offence to PS3 or to its players. But rather to Sony, for always feel a need to go their own way, regardless of the consequences of their customers.

Luckily for Sony, most PS3 users dont understand software and hardware design, and as such, will procliam that theirs is the better.
While in fact, without being an Xbox really devoted fan but Im rather a PC really devoted fan, the Xbox hardware outperforms the PS3 by miles in cross platform titels and ease of programming on.

Take diablo 3 as an example.
Why do you think its taking time for them to confirm its coming to consoles?
Becuase they need to also release it on PS3, and thats an incredible effort.

Can anyone tell me if they have a file size over 10MB and aren't experiencing problems, or is this a for sure thing that's going to happen? I'm currently at 4.2MB with about 16 hrs play time, so I'm not at the point yet. I'm just wondering if I should for sure expect this to happen to me at some point, or if it's only some people experiencing it?

This is why I stopped playing Skyrim. Well I just built myself an awesome PC (first build) so if the PS3 version doesn't get fixed soon i'll have to switch to PC.

No problems for me on the PS3. There are occasional stutters when I enter a new area for the first 5 seconds or so, but that's about it. Very, very far from unplayable for me.

My only PS3 gripe is with the controller, I hate 3rd person view, and in the heat of battle I always accidentally press down on my thumb sticks and it makes me sneak and go into 3rd person mode. It's a real pain sometimes.

There's already lots of threads about this in the PS3 Issues sub-forum.

And guys - if all you're going to do is go find a thread about someone having troubles with their game so you can post that you're not having any troubles, at least be polite about it.

And everyone else - if someone posts in your thread to say that they're not having problems, please be polite in your response.

And everyone, everywhere - please report anyone you see being insulting or unnecessarily rude.

Thanks! :)
