Stop screwing over the PS3.

Alright Bethesda, I'm pretty [censored] pissed off right now. I bought this game on PS3, VERY hesitantly, because my PC cant handle it right now. I say hesitantly, because Bethesda has a vendetta against the PS3 for some reason, Fallout 3 had severe bugs that went unpatched. Oblivon had the uncurable vampirism, which is about as gamebreaking as you could get, in addition to other unpatched bugs and NO DLC.

And now, the PS3 and ONLY the PS3, is suffering tremendous lag and framerate issues rendering Skyrim unplayable. Which, I will put considerable money on them not giving one [censored] about and this thread being promptly locked and deleted to fall next to the ghettoized PS3 topics regarding the Fallouts and Oblivion.

Look gamesas, I dont care what Sony did to you. I dont care what caused all this butthurt that you decided to sabotage the PS3 ports of all your products. I cant tell why you did this.

What I can tell you is that I was eventually planning on picking up the PC copy, now, I am not, because the way you treat one of the major platforms disgusts me. I KNOW you wont patch this because you HATE Sony and the PS3 with all your might and you get rage boners thinking about them. You have never done ANYTHING in your company history to EVER fix a major glitch in your products on a Sony Console. So, you know what, if you dont want to make a complete functional product for one of the systems. Just dont, dont release a sabotaged version to 'punish' the people who own a PS3 and give money to you. Please, for the next Fallout or Elder Scrolls or what have you, just release an Xbox and PC port. Please, I beg you, pull all PS3 copies of Skyrim if you give that little a [censored], because Sony customers dont need to deal with this [censored].

My current PS3 bug count = 0

It must be a problem with your console.

really devoted fan rage at its finest.
It's not a "really devoted fan rage". Look at you... berating the OP for bringing up a real issue? It's evidently clear that the PS3 version has shortcomings and this performance issue isn't a well-kept secret. Some people may not be getting the problem, or at least not yet (seems to correlate with increased saved data file sizes), but it's there.

So, really the question is: why does Sony hate YOU personally for giving you a crappy console?

Edit: I'm joking btw ;)

I havn't heard of this problem other than from you. Then again, I havn't been looking very hard. Then again again, you don't need to look very hard to find complaints on this forum.

Didn't they say they were releasing a patch to fix all of the problems on the xbox360 version?

yes but this is coming from the biggest ps3 devoted fan on the forums :\

Sorry to say but everyone will take what you say with a grain of salt since it has been your main focus on the boards. Other PS3 players are saying they are not getting the "Bugs" he is getting. Why don't you guys make complaints directly to Bethesda rather than start console war baiting topics in here? These always go down hill and always go bad. Me? I could care less what system people choose to play on.

Loads of people have this. It's when your save file gets too big. It's Beth's infamous PS3 memory leak. It's their porting skills which are coming into question here, not sony.

While I don't know much about this at all (this is the first time I'm hearing about any of it) I feel as though Bethesda is a little bit more mature than that and also I'm sure they have a lot of bigger problems to deal with than intentionally sabotaging the PS3 version of their own game. I mean, c'mon . . .

Ah... I love my PS3, and will gladly admit that I'm sort of a sony really devoted fan... But come on... People in Bethesda actually hating sony? Like really hate? XD Like when they finish their daily job they go drink a beer talking about their favorite subject : PS3 bashing? Or wait maybe they even spend their evenings on plots to make their ports even worst on the PS3? Let's be serious, I'm very sorry you're having issues with Skyrim on your PS3 (I'm lucky to be playing it on the PC) but try to make your post at least a little bit serious. Complain about maybe their lack of talent in programming, or lack of knowledge of the PS3 hardware or laziness or whatever... But hate?

I really hate Sony, it all goes back to 'expensive' and like others but copyprotected/not replacebale.

I really hate certain Japish brands, but I don't hate play station. PS 2 was very cool, PS 3 looked promising, but I am sure that Sony did something very bad and keeps doing it to get all hatred from numerous people. Perhaps Sony is greedy?

I thought this time around Xbox has the most technical problems. Of all the complaints I've seen regarding bugs, glitches, and graphics issues, it's been mostly Xbox users. :\

It's not that they hate Sony, it's just that Microsoft pays them more.

I noticed the further and further I get into Skyrim on my ps3 it seem's to get laggier and laggier I don't know if it's from file size or what but I'd totally love for a patch to fix this but other than that I've had no problems.

All you need to do is to save your game, press the PS button, quit the game and restart the game and the framerate goes away. Has worked for me 5 times and 0 times have the framerate issue actually been present. And I did need to play the game for over 30 hours for the first problems to show up. I guess it could have something to do with the auto-save function, but there's no telling for sure what's causing it.

Nothing I can't live with.

fanb0y rage at its finest.

Lmao. ^

I'm really sorry about this OP.
I've experienced frame rate issues/lag but it was only for a short amount of time -- during the Imperial Legion quests to be more specific, but after that I've been running problem free since.

There IS a patch getting released soon y'know.
Hopefully this will be the solution to all of our problems. :D
