I am not sure what the OP is talking about? While I am shocked we don't have an option to get "Options" when we start a game, but as soon as the game starts go to Menu, then choose "options". I hate the Y not being inverted, so I was able to inver the Y Axis. Not sure where the looking around the left is coming from? I am a lefty and always used the default setting for Morrowind, Oblivon and Skyrim Except for the Y-Axsis.

You can even remap the controller if you want, that I see but never tired, so not sure what the complaint is about.

Thank you so much. I was going nuts trying to figure out what was wrong. Tried restarting the game. Tried restarting the Xbox. Reset the settings in my profile. Nothing worked except for your suggestion. Now I can play. Yay!
