I am hoping most of you on here who are complaining are the minority.

This is possibly the most overhyped PC game of all time.

Up there with DA2 in my book...

Im curious, whats your GPU and usage? Also FPS?

At least it is using 4 cores right?
The only difference between the i7 and i5 processors is the i7's have hyper threading, which is not supported by games. It actually may be hindering performance.

I'm a bit wary of starting up the game on my PC now, after reading all of the complaints people have about the PC version.
Now, I read that it only uses one core? What the hell, Beth?
It was barely acceptable with Oblivion, as multi-core CPU's weren't the norm yet, but how do you expect to get away with this in 2011?

EDIT: Sorry if I sound like a troll, I'm just kind of disconcerted by the large influx of problems people are having with the PC version of this game.
I'm visiting here, because I won't get mine until tomorrow. I'd bet that the forum is more apt to be visited by people with problems and people who haven't gotten the game than by people who are playing happily. Think of the thousands who are sitting in front of their keyboards killing dragons gleefully.

I heard that Skyrim doesnt use multiple cores. If so, I cant play this game. It requires 2.0 ghz clock speed. Each of my quad cores puts out 1.5. Is there any truth to this?

I'm running an i7 2600k and it seems to be using all the cores. I'm more worried by the fact that it's only using one of my 6970s.

SLI and XFire rely on your video card drivers, keep an eye out for when AMD releases the next ones, it should enable the second one for you.
