Does Bethesda read these forums?

the game's fine, play it, enjoy it.

if they fix things - great. useless post

Do you want Skyrim to become even a better game?

Because that is why most of us are here, criticizing it.

Fool.

Are you trying to tell me that this forum is better served by being flooded with people saying "hey I killed a dragon..did you kill a dragon?"

Instead of bringing forth all the little bitty things that are out of whack in the game?

There ARE PLENTY of other places that you could use to tell stories to each other about your experience in the game.
There are not that many places where the players of that game have a direct channel to voice complaints about the game.

Complaints, whether you agree with them or not... are the truest and most useful purpose of the forums.

IF we were back in Rome.... you'd be a senator who wants to waste time and moneys using the Senate Building to hold parties and drink wine.
No.
The Forum is for the public, to bring forth COMPLAINTS to the people who run the country. Not to have a grand ol party where everyone is telling stories.

This is a forum.

They were going to release a patch anyway, Queen. Calm down, you'll be able to get your whatever twitching glitch fixed or whatever glitch your obsessing over. Grow up.

Yeah, Bigots who can't even worship Talos because he threatens the idea of the empire. Talk to the people of WinterHelm and you will be revealed that Nord Bigotry is at its worst suspicion and will come to accept you if your useful, even coming from an Elf.

Dev's are yellow (such as Hayt reading it right now). Honestly though, this is the way the first month goes for every Bethesda game. People toss out their issues, some of them get addressed and patched and life goes on. I have to constantly remind myself that us forum users are a very tiny percentage of the Bethesda market and that when someone posts an issue, it more often than not is one that I won't ever encounter.

Its all as the Thalmor intend- a weak and fractured Empire will be easy pickings- a strong and united one will annhilate them.
If the Stormcloaks succeed their newfound freedom will be shortlived.

EDIT= And even then the Empire cant be happy about banning Talos worship- I mean the man founded it, it was a necessary compromise.

I know the "fool" comment was uncalled for but replying to that with an insult kind of defeats the point of your post (the grow up part).

I think everyone has a right to an opinion. I don’t much like people who start insulting forum users because they have a different opinion. I love the game, its the best TES game for me in my opinion, but I know for a fact that its not perfect and it could be improved either through mods or patches.

So people do have the right to want to have something fixed, especially in the patching phase where people want to input their opinion to help devs target things that need fixing. Saying the game is the best thing since slice bread is all good and well, but complaining about people who want bugs fixed or things changed is a little selfish. Let people have the right to post their opinion.

And yes, the devs do visit the forum often :)

Skyrim is great. I have encountered a few little bugs, but they have all been awesome like a rider's head disappearing while on horseback, or a mammoth falling from the sky. I love Skyrim.

I just hope they read the forums and realise that there ARE people who appreciate the work that they've put into this game. This place has become overwhelmed with negativity. I realise that people have paid money and they are entitled to their opinion- both positive and negative. However, I've been reading some seriously preposterous comments lately and I think it's a little ungrateful to say, 'I hope they read the forums and realise all the mistakes they've made.' There's having a grievance and then there's being an ungrateful, immature brat. I've got a few gripes myself but I'm not gonna [censored] about them because there are so many other positives to enjoy. They've made a truly mesmerising game.

Good job Bethesda. Take your time fixing them bugs.

Constructive complaints are fine. The rambling, incoherent idiocy from seemingly emotionally challenged people is bad for the game and annoying to see on the forums. There's no place for it on these forums or anywhere else. Be intelligent or keep your opinion where it belongs; in your head.

If you go to the main page of these forums, there's a list of all users currently logged in. Names that are in that beige/orange/yellow color are devs, and it's likely that more either appear offline or don't log in.

Yes it is a forum. However there is a difference between genuine grievances and incoherent whining. I read a post where someone complained that you can change the difficulty during the game...I mean, c'mon...that is not criticism.

Yeah, Caesar of Caesar's Legion spewed the same crap. Stability at all costs, especially in exchange for the rights and property of individuals and sovereign nations. The Legion can suk my nuts. STORM CLOAKS 4 LIFE. TALOS 4 LIFE.

Actually like those protesters, they don't represent the 99% as they claim. They represent themselves. Look up the definition of a Republic and Democracy. We are a Republic, which means we represent ourselves, not mob rule that claims to speak for everyone, which is a Democracy.

End/Politics

They speak for ever wants them to speak for them.....

Somebody is always assigned to reading the forum.

Bioware still interact and must be lauded ...but the last few years has seen a publishing assault on the PC platform, thus most sensible developers skulked off to other network media. The Kings cook knows what he's serving.

I am elated and surprised that Skyrim is awesome....

I have a dream! Where people can get on a game forum and discuss the game! Not complain about every itty bitty bug or non-feature that's "game breaking."

I dunno about you guys but seeing a giant launch me into space was kinda hilarious.

I <3 fanbois because they are so easy to spot. Whining is what Beth needs to make a better TES6 game. Becuase I am not that impressed with 5. Oblivion 2 with a twist of console port pisses me off.

And to the guy that said sell it. You cant sell it on PC because it is associated with your Steam account. Otherwise, I'd consider it. The price on this game will drop significantly in a matter of months because the game doesn't compare with he hype that was generated.

Exactly. Nowadays you don't have the option of selling a game you don't like. So either you eat the loss or complain to the dev. I don't really like the 'this is OP' or 'that's underpowered' threads, but there's lots of valid problems on these forums. There's the arrow bugs and interface bugs, and some bugs that are just bizarre. I saw a dragon skeleton suddenly shoot for the sky, and that's either a bug or some new zombie questline.
People who say 'stop complaining and just live with the bugs' are insane. I paid for this product, why shouldn't I speak my mind about places where it doesn't work?
