Developer's stay true to the lore. (Gameplay changes)

I think we′re all missing the REAL point here.
Most of the whinings remembers me when everyone complained about the stats removal from Skyrim, yet everyone keep playing it.
But lets go to the REAL point.
I think this game should not be taked as an MMO. TES:O or ES:O is not ES:MMO
What I mean is, the whole point of the game should be to play with other TES players, and ROLE PLAY with other people. I find the problem there.
If they want to make a PVP server for the "just killing" people fine. But I personally find an RP server VERY attractive. A place where you can Rol your character, explore with another people and not just dumb NPC′s, a place where you can go to Balmora, and speak to a fellow Dunmer of the tomb you′ve discovered and things like that. To be in a tavern and actually tell tales, go to a temple and speak of the tribunal, I dont know, the horizon is unlimited.
I think THAT is the point of a TES Online game.
I was one of those who never complained about the stat removal of Skyrim - I thought it was an brilliant idea.
Anyway the point why I'm disappointed about TES:O is what I have heard about it's mechanics. I mean I have played one MMO, Everquest II but it wasn't enjoyable for me because it had so bad control and combat system. As far as I have heard TES:O will have combat and control more similar to that than to TES. Roleplaying, TES lore, other TES fans and PvP can't fix it if they'll broke the whole taste of the game by building such like autoattack/hotkey combat and put things on the screen you need to click.

But till we actually SEE the gameplay... they′re just rumors. And we know how rumors are...

Yes, that's why I said I hope you're right.

It remains to see, but combat system alone won't suffice, if other rumors are correct.

Cyrodiil is being "scaled down for PvP reasons" and presumably the other provinces as well. There are no NPC schedules. They're not sure how they're going to implement stealth yet. There are no moveable objects. There is no player housing. Sounds like a real, living, breathing world.

They said there was no radiant AI, not that there was no npc schedules.

Very large difference

When you hire someone from DAoC who is also known as "the lore butcher" to head up your project, you get what you pay for.

That's considered a part of radiant AI. I suppose they could make seperate NPC schedules and call it something different, but we'll see I guess.
