17 submissions. Wowowowowow. Let's see, what is another way of expressing my gratitude besides saying "thank you"? I'd hate to feel like a broken record.

Orwell is my favorite author. I regret that I have only read 1984 and Animal Farm, but those books are amazing. Maybe I can read some more of his books sometime...

Anyways, thank you all again for replying, you have been a tremendous help. Now I need to shape my presentation for tomorrow using this data. I'll let you all know how it goes. :foodndrink:

I associate this more with The Last Crusade than with Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Spoiler
1. Yes
2. The middle.
3. Been a while, but I think I first heard it when they flew out of the jungle.
4. Hokie. I don't particularly enjoy hokie, base-root productions.
5. No. Nostalgia is not the word I would use. My word to describe the feeling on hearing it again? Meh.
6. I watch movies alone. I wish to hear the actors speak, not others.
7. I first saw it in Okinawa, Japan.
8. No.
9. No.
10. Hehehe...erm..no.
11. Not particularly. It served its purpose for the masses. However, as a musical composition, it is in fact quite pedestrian.

Hope that helps.

I just did my presentation. I think I did pretty good, though I stumbled here and there because I didn't have time to rehearse. Will revive my thread on Monday when I get my score back, thanks again to everyone who participated!

Thank you. No, I am actually getting a degree in Computer Science (to make teh gamez), and Psychology 100 is a prerequisite. And I was more interested in this then Social Psychology, which was the only other option. Still, I always wanted to be a psychologist on some level, so I might be interested in getting it as a minor.

So I'm a bit biased since I have 2 degrees in psych, but I would recommend a minor in psych to almost everyone, because I think it involves useful information and skills that can be used in almost any line of work. I had quite a few computer science majors in my cognitive psych classes (I actually think it was required for their major) because the two subjects surprisingly have a lot of similarities.

I agree, a Psychology minor could very well help me in my work. Baking, Fire Science, and Kazoo Theory are valid options too.
