RIP :( I admit that I had no idea of his existence before this news, but if he was one of the minds behind the really great artwork of FO3 and Skyrim, my feelings rest with him...

I posted a few thoughts on another thread but I want to express condolences to Adam's family and friends. He's gone much too soon. As there have been more articles about him and his work, they showed some of his art and items he created for FO3 and he spoke on his website about the laser gun he created that someone made a model of and he sounded so proud. I didn't know that was his artistic creation but that's the gun I always use in the game. In his memory, I'll be firing up FO3 and enjoying his wonderful and amazing work. I can't think of a better tribute. Thank you, Adam, rest in peace.

My hopes for F4 are getting lower and lower these days :/ Although this time it wasn't Beth's fault.

Definitely stinks that a person died that worked on a game that I really like. The art scheme of everything worked beautifully from the 50's feel to the post-apocalyptic dystopian aura it gave. He'll be missed and hopefully his work will live on to inspire others.

I was talking with my friend about Skyrim and was just commenting how visual aspects of the game, together with music and sound effects (Mark, you did great job once more), were probably best aspects of the game.
About 30 minutes latter, I find out that person responsible for that awesomeness is dead. o_o

I thought this was a nice video showcasing the result of his latest work.

Aye, Sovngarde beckons. Very fitting! Wishing you a good journey, Adam. May you enjoy a goblet of mead with Skyrim finest!

The tribute on bethblog today absolutely made me choke up. Seeing his work as far back as Oblivion DLC, through Skyrim just makes you realize how insanely creative and amazingly consistent and astonishingly good he was as an artist. And the personal remarks, he was obviously a fun, funny and warm-hearted guy..

Just read the tribute too, what a wonderful person he must have been. Would have been great to get to know him in life, it's a shame that it's too late for that now.

Adam Adamowicz was an amazing genius and I loved his work. He created one of my favorite characters, Liberty Prime. His can-do attitude and ability to say what-ever he wants inspired me.
"Liberty Prime is online, all systems nominal. Weapons hot. Mission : The destruction of any and all Chinese communists!"
Two great things about this man, his unlimited creativity and drive to make whatever he thought.

I would strongly suggest you guys post what your favorite Adam-made art or feature is.

Wow, that's devastating. I remember him from the Fallout 3 Documentary when I bought it and it amazed me on all the work he did in the shortest amount of time. Never saw much of his work on Skyrim but the diversity and drastic change and his ability to still draw it all to near perfection astonished me. Rest in Peace Adam.

Just go to Elderscrolls.com to see a tribute from Bethesda to Adam, it seriously brought me to tears and this is a guy who I have heard of and repsect but never had the privaledge to meet personally! I remember in one of the preview tour videos of Skyrim pre-release he was shown and pvssyd, and there was alot of his amazing concept art spread across the walls, infact there was alot of chat in these forums about his concept art and what was what, people were so excited by his gift and the impending release of his last complete project! Little did I know that this amazing and talented man was even then suffering from a serious illness!

What a huge loss not only to Bethesda, and the Gaming Industry, but also to the greater community as all reports from friends and colleagues suggest he was an amazing person too, full of life, humor and always racing with new ideas! I don't think people like Adam come along very often, and his creativity, his smile, his good humor, and his obvious and fantastic talent will never totally be replaced, lets hope his visions live on in future Bethesda titles and TES 6!

Every time I load up Skyrim or FO3 I will think of you Adam, every time I sit and stare in wonder at a fantastic sunset, vista, or splendid architecture, I will think of you and how you have had a hand in it! I Dedicate my 200 hours in Skyrim so far and 300+ hours in FO3 to your memory, may you continue your creativity drawing in the heavens with the clouds as your canvas and making the angels blush with your good humor! May your Memory will live on! I will sink a few Meads for you in my next adventure!

RIP. (TES fan going back to Arena in 94)

As an artist, he excelled and produced brilliance. As a person, I'm sure he was no less fun and creative. Fallout 3's artistic style was hauntingly beautiful and I'm sure his work delivered on the overall consistent success of its atmosphere and tone. Skyrim's is a stylized realism no less consistently well-done and appealing. Bethesda has lost a great artist and his family have lost a great man. Cancer is a difficult thing to face and my thoughts go to them.

I was just looking through the Flickr photo stream of Adam's Fallout 3 artwork. I swear, most of those pictures belong in a museum. RIP Adam.

Sorry for the ghost bump.
