He didn't happen to have an account on the forums, by chance? Just asking since most devs/artists/programmers have one here and curious about his username, if any.

Did he do all concept art for F3 and Skyrim? Are there any specific pieces we know he did?

Edit: Just as I feared (clicked on the OP's link). He did my favorite pieces from F3 (clothing, mutants, robots). :(

Not sure if he had help or was alone, but I would assume he did the majority.

One thing I liked about FO3 and Skyrim was the art design.

Cruel fate.

Also his first name is included in his last name. :o

I'm sorry to hear that. I remember vividly saving the Fallout 3 concept art as it was released with great excitement. It really captured my imagination. His art for Skyrim is also absolutely beautiful. He was incredibly talented. I actually just happened to listen to a Bethesda podcast featuring he and fellow concept artist, Ray Lederer, last week. It was very entertaining, they sounded like really great guys. I'm sure he will be greatly missed by his family and coworkers.

That's really sad. The artwork and visual design in Fallout 3 was the aspect of the project that I really unconditionally loved. Some of the best artwork (IMO) in a video game in recent memory, in fact. What a talented guy. This is truly a loss. :(

Looking back at Fallout 3's visual design it was very well done. It was one of the many things that made me love it. Shame he won't be on Fallout 4 :(.

When I heard about this, I just got really sad, because my mind/memory went right to this video -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZjk3lhAffU

Sincere condolences to his family and friends. He was most definitely talented and losing someone young and in full stride of their talent and career is just very sad.

I really liked his art. I wonder if Bethesda will release any of his work that hasn't been seen yet in a book or something as a tribute. It would go along nicely next to my Alberto Vargas artbook and my Bioshock 2 concept artbook.

I would buy that in a heartbeat. Perhaps some of the money could go to family and a good cause.

Regardless of what you think of Fallout 3 as a total package, one can't deny the brilliance of Adam's work. The fact that he did so much of it by hand makes me respect him all the more. 42 is just far, far too young and unfortunately I suspect that outside of the BGS family, Adam will be one of those more conspicuous by his absence than his presence. And that's a damned shame.

Oh, and cancer needs to die in a fire.

I'm so sorry to hear the news about Adam. His work on Fallout 3 in particular inspired me so much and helped me stay motivated through Univeristy when I was doing my own design work. Cancer sickens me and I hope they find a cure soon, it takes too many lives and nobody deserves to go through it.

My sympathy goes out to his family, friends and fans. You will be missed. :(

Thank you for sharing your worlds with us and sparking our imagination. <3
