Zone Levels

i hope this system does not work this way.

i hope in any zone there could be higher level hotspots.

if it would be that way id like it the way skyrm was intendet to put it: in skyrim: the higher you get the higher level enemies. In morrowind for example id say the more inland you get the higher level enemies as in the closer to the red mountain, for blackmarch that makes sense too.

also shut up if you dont like the general idea of an MMO (not how it is set up now) get out.
Actually i dont want to be "the hero" i want to be "a hero" i dont want the world to revolve around me. its much more satisfying to make yourself a name (within the community that is) if its not predetermined. I want to play with other Adventurers against this huge hostile world i want to explore i want to help others that are in danger (such as rezzing in GW 2)

something i realy hope they nail is that when you see another player youre like HELL YEAH support! and not DAMMIT! hes gonna steal MY loot!

Why? You won't be able to explore efficiently. An MMO is not focused on exploration, but high-end gear grinding. Killing the same thing multiple times just hoping your Head piece drops.

I suspect that if you explore, you'll be unable to experience a large part of the game that'll require good gear.

Why should they stick to the same format though? Taking the exploration out of any TEs game is a bad idea, and the creative director even thinks exploration will be a big part.

He has not replied to my question so i don't think he has ever played an MMO before.

Only MMO I've played is WoW. I just thought that was the generic style of MMO since its the most popular.

I don't consider the potential of using up major characters for stories in the MMO thus preventing thier inclusion as a main villian or other character in a future TES game minimal.
Uhm...are you familiar with the Lore? This is the third time Mannimarco is being used a a major plot character...(Daggerfall, Oblivions mages guild, and now) I think any villains and such are safe. Just because someone has been used once in a game does not mean they will be excluded in another one lol. There is nothing preventing characters from showing up again unless they get killed. And who is important, that we know of, that is alive at this time and isn't already in a future TES game? Major characters can be used over and over. Most of anyone you encounter will be dead come the next game anyways. Even for an Altmer 1000 years is a long damned time.

Huh? At this point I'm not sure how to respond, as it seems you obviously don't really understand how a building a world and maintaining canon works.

Don't respond,we will see further down the road who is right and who is wrong.

Molag Bal exists in every single TES game, which all take place AFTER this MMO, he may be a big bad, but just like in Oblivion when we took on Mehrunes Dagon, we didn't kill him, so I don't see how it's using him up, when Bethesda makes TES:IV I'm sure he'll have another daedric quest just like anyone else, and they have PLENTY of lore to dig up another big bad for a single player game without retooling the same ones,

it will be tiered I am sure, I think the biggest concern though is, will we have high end and low end tiers for all nine provinces?

That is the question. I guess it depends on how big the provinces are. Will each province be one tier? Hopefully they will be bigger than that.
