So the graphics will be similar to Guild WarsThe Old Republi

Pretty simple really. Nords, Dunmer and Argonians allied. I'm not trolling, but I may be an ass. If you know anything about the lore, you know this is absurd. They will invent some reason as to why it works though.

it does work, There have been border disputes depending on who was ruling what and at what time, argonian occupation, the battle of red mountain, but things change. unlikely allies are formed all the time, its just strategy.
sometimes you need to make peace if you want to achieve a mutual goal and benefit from the strength of your rivals.
Also the point that was brought up about Cyrodiil looking the same is valid. If you knew the lore, you'd know that during the time that ES:O will be taking place, Cyrodiil was supposed to be a jungle. You can't apply Earth's geography to Nirn. Just because our geographical features don't change much over time doesn't have any bearing on what happens on a magic filled world like Nirn.
Its called a retcon. it happens all the time, the descripions of a landscape can change with something as simple as the studio wanting a specific art style. Bethesda wanted to do with oblivion what they did with daggerfall, create a more traditional fantasy setting, and that was what we got.
you have to be an idiot to think that BGS would not be providing lore support and artwork to work from.

Bro, I don't think you are as expert as you think you are with regard to the lore. There's a thread active called 'Lore' - you should read it. Some pretty smart people have explained all the factions within the lore.

I hope I will feel that I am in the Elder Scrolls universe when I play this game. If not, then they have failed us.

This.

And from looking at the screen shots I don't feel like it's TES. Sure it has mushrooms, atronachs, and orcs and whatnot but ... it doesn't look right.

I guess I don't really like the art direction the game has taken. The cartoonish characters feel out of place when compared to the single player TES games which have usually gone for a more realistic and less stylised approach.

Actually Dunmer and Nord allieng happaned at least 2 Times before. And Argonians and Nord happened just recently against Morrowind.
As for Argonians and Dunmer its less happy friendship as more grim alliance that is needet to survive.

im kind of scared on what this game is going to be like, i hope they keep the same style of role playing as they had in skyrim and oblivion, it would be very disapointing to see the elder scrolls turn into some crapy 3rd person only game like WoW, (no offence intended to WoW fans)

I prefer first person in The Elder Scrolls game. If you remove first person view from The Elder Scrolls game, despite a MMO or not, what do you have then? Dragon Age 2?
No, you have a third person TES game. Mechanics do not mean [censored] for whether or not something is a part of a games lore universe or not. It is the lore and setting that defines that. A God of War style game with similar mechanics featuring robo-Pelinal Whitestrake in Kratos' shoes for instance would still very much be an elder scrolls game. An assassin creed styles game with you in the shoes of a Morag Tong agent is still a TES game. A book about TES is still TES. Get my drift?

Uh. Not sure where you pulling GW2 from. They use their own engine. TOR and TESO will share an engine, but that doesn't mean everything about them aside from the actual content will be identical.

Rift and Oblivion use the same engine, and look at them.

This.

Coincidentally, that was a good game. It just didn't sell well. I the MMO introduces new lore like that game did then I will be more than happy about it. This MMO is not supposed to be like the main series. It is supposed to be a TES MMO. Nothing more nothing less. You guys honestly expected amazingly innovative gameplay mechanics from a dev team you know little about and is inspired by BGS? I love the Elder Scrolls games but the combat and gameplay mechanics have never been very innovative or even that good. Just the truth based on my perceptions.

Lol not even my problem if it is a WoW clone. I have not played any WoW clones or even WoW. The gameplay will probably be fun and enjoyable for me. So good news for me then. I get to experience a universe I love with mechanics I can enjoy and people I might like. Tam!! RUGH!!!

It's not "like (list a few games and a bit of a rant about being a clone)"

It's a genre of graphics. This isn't anime or anything, this is 'real' graphics.

*Sigh* "WoW GW clone"

The graphics speak for themselves. They are what they are, you can talk yourself into whatever you want to believe.

My initial reaction was "Looks like SWTOR +EQ2"

Hmmm i ( and many many TES fans ) have played all 3 latest TES games MW/OB/SK all fully 100% in 3rd person view, if those are not considered 3rd person games as well as first person i don't know what is.

As for the graphics, to me it didn't look one bit like SWTOR but more like a "colorfull" TES world, looks a lot like Kingdoms of Amalur but still TES.

I like they way they look, and I think as the client moves toward a release candidate, they will turn on more and more graphic options. I think it will be a vrey pretty game at release.
