That's what I plan to do as well, but it's not possible if they take the Thalmor as superiors or allies; we'll end up getting kicked out or hated for killing friendlies.

Then so be it!
I will have to end the Thalmor and the Stormcloaks myself.
And if needs be, The Emperor as well.

If I was going to do such things I'd rather join the Stormcloaks...but I really want to join the Empire; the damned Thalmor are causing all the problems!

I hope we don't get a Blackwood Company Situation again, where the "Enemies" (Blackwood Company) were way cooler than the "Good Guys" (Fighter's Guild) and you always get tempted to join them.

I feel that this is already the case with the Imperial Legion and Stormcloaks. I find the Imperial Legion (besides their name) to be way cooler than the Stormcloaks, however they are evidently portrayed as more evil than the Stormcloaks.

At least they are joinable.

But yeah, with the information that we have so far the Imperial Legion appears to be being portrayed as the Manipulated "Bad" Guys. Let's hope that some additional info change that.

I'm feeling that The College of Winterhold is a little bland. But that is probably because we don't have any information on then yet.

True that the College of Winterhold seems a little bland now, I just hope we don't find out that they are actually witches.

I'm guessing none of the factions will care if side side with imperial or stormcloaks (other than the imperials and stormcloaks) It seems the companions is kind of split down the middle about this so i probably won't matter.

- They tried to kill you even though you weren't listed on the roster

-You're clearly not a Stormcloak

- the willy nilly shot some poor guy trying to survive

- they are occupying towns

-The Nord in the Legion unit was sympathetic

-he actually tried to preserve you, as well as another Nord on the opposing side

-The Thalmor are basically running everything and the Imps are a bunch of pansies

The "willy nilly" shot a criminal who tried to escape. No problem there in my eyes. I don't mind them occupying towns either. The sympathetic Nord is more of a reason to join the Legion than a reason to join the Stormcloaks. There's no proof as of yet that the Thalmor are running everything.

Okay so what we have come up with is that the companions are neutral, the stormcloaks are the "good guys" and the Imperials are good but are being controlled by evil??? I'm losing my mind who do I side with?!?!?!

I'm just going to be working on the companions/werewolf quest line and not make a decision until we find some more info I think.
